depends on the game. Sometimes people add avoidable ntr and I just think to myself, "why?", since the avoidable path will be the most boring, dry, mind numbing shit in existence. When done well though, yeah, I think avoidable NTR is quite enjoyable. I actually made the argument 'most ntr games would be better with non-ntr paths' in this thread in the past, but since then I've realized this isn't true.

Like NTR Online for example, (SAO Ntr), that game would def not be better with avoidable ntr. Part of the thrill is the illusion you might be able to win back Asuna, just for everything to come crashing down.

The key words are "when done well", everything can be good when is well done, i have even enjoyed ntr that is BSS wich i normally consider bullshit, or netorase more often. Then there are the games that aren't great but have good ideas and only fail because of lack of experience in more cases, like for example people here love the SAO ntr game but Fujino took some time to reach his current level, he tried a lot of things and we can now see the result.

With exploration, survival, and other features, the gameplay is in some ways better than in their previous title.
But the H-scenes are a massive letdown. The corruption happening way too fast.
Well, if anyone want to try it anyway, here's (somewhat) a partial translation of this game.
Please note that I only translated [all the items] and [a few choices] in the game.
At the very least, it makes playing the game without proper translation much easier.

I really dislike avoidable ntr. I play ntr games for the ntr. When it is avoidable, I have to make a conscious decision to get ntred, which becomes more of netorase, which I do not really like that much.

Also when it is unavoidable the story can be more fleshed out imo. When you try giving players too much choice, you need to accomodate it and leave stuff open.

I guess it "could" be done right, but considering the resources and effort at porn devs disposal... not likely.

Nope, I HATE avoidable. It almost always means I have to play like a retard to get the scenes. OH, do I let my GF go on a mission with the fat bastard alone? Sure, what could go wrong?

I get that there is a market for that, where people like to save the girls. But it just ends up being tedious for me. I much prefer the illusion of choice, where I can make the "right" choice and save the girl, but something out of my control happens and I still get her taken.

One perfect example of that is in Leane 2, there is a feisty girl and a shit-bag noble. Well, a war breaks out on the front after the king is killed, and you don't want the girls in danger of getting kidnapped by barbarians (which can happen). So you send her back to the castle to be safe. Of course, the shit bag noble goes too cause he ain't about that front-line fighting. Then when you get back to the castle you met with the revelation that the noble has made himself king and is now using that authority to fuck the girls, and you can't do anything to stop it. He fucks the feisty girl and the kind girl that nursed you back to health right in front of you to your horror then tells you to go find more bitches and fight barbarians, lol.

That part in Lean 2 caught me completely off guard because it kinda a long build-up to it, and you kind of get baited with scenes that might turn into NTR before, but it never happens so you just don't expect it.

Fast corruption rlly be ruining games that seemingly would've been good otherwise. Just played Hero Boy Ken for the first time, (late to the party, I know), and wow it was enjoyable until the first sex scene. Admittedly the corruption felt a bit cheap and out of character, (and we barely even got characters out of the girls, just vaguely characterized meat puppets), but it was at least gradual, with groping and then eventually kissing in the mansion. But then, out of nowhere, the main heroine just lets the fat bastard take her virginity like its no big deal in the bath. 0 buildup, just from kissing to fucking. Honestly ruined my experience a bit, and the rest of the game just gave off a super rushed and unsatisfying feel. Like I had been playing a game in the beginning, then skipped to the end.

Like you'd expect the nun, of all people, to be somewhat resistant to the corruption. She seemed ditzy, so the villian could've used that to his advantage. But instead nah, she just starts fucking him like everyone else, and goes from kissing the guy to getting fucked in front of her boyfriend/lover, (inside of her church), in the span of 10 minutes.

I honestly don't understand all the reviews calling it a masterpiece. It's an ok NTR game, a dime in a dozen. If gives off the energy that a bunch of people either love it for nostalgia, or because its timmy's first introduction to NTR.

Edit: Nvm I think I figured it out, it's a bug. For anyone that gaf about trying out this game(which everyone says sucks), at the beginning right after you control your character if you accidently re-enter the classroom the game will bug out completely, which is really stupid because walking straight to the left after exiting the classroom puts you back inside so you gotta be careful.

Yep. Not only for that, but it just feels like more.

I usually go through the NTR content first, then finish the game on a nice vanilla playthrough so it ends on a happy high note. I appreciate seeing authors/developers put in the effort to have two distinct versions of the story in the game depending on player choices (or their gameplay proficiency if the title is more ACT than VN).

Personally a "surprise" factor is important. If you go through your gradual process, then everything becomes very predictable (kinda weakness with ntaii games imo). I really like slow corruption, but when you know whats coming next...

I also really dislike turbo corruption, but a sudden jump during the corrupting process to skip a few stages is fine imo, but it needs to really capitalize on that.

It depends on the storytelling and the design. In linear games, unavoidable is better. But in those where there are routes, just a mix with other fetishen and storlyines, the choice is actually better. So everyone has their own individual gaming experience

I like the idea of avoidable NTR but a lot of them have 0 payoff, might as well not exist.
Most games are just build around "losing is winning" if you know what I mean. Why not just make it unavoidable then?

Like in Nebel Geisterjäger I did a pure true ending run and was disappointed, it's just too much work for too little payoff.
The NTR ending is way more interesting to play through.

A good one that I can think of that's recent is Dungeon with Girl.
That's one of the avoidable NTRs that I can get behind.
