looking through the vndb for that game and I gotta say that the retro anime pixel art style (especially for eroge) really is my weakness, i just find it prettier than any other kind of eroge artstyle i've seen, and i don't really know why? it's a shame there isnt really much NTR with that artstyle, the only thing I've come across that's been translated into English is that horror game Abaddon, and I really liked the pixel art in that game over the modern CGsYou must be registered to see the links
Seems like the Dragon Knight IV translator wants help.
Your system locale is probably not japaneseDoes anyone know why I encountered this error while attempting to play the newest Venus game? View attachment 3189399
mtool doesn't support the venus engineAnyone recommend getting the paid version of mtool or free to play the venus game? is the paid version a monthly subscription thing or one time buy?
wtf really? so the only option is to pray someone decides to translate it themselves...mtool doesn't support the venus engine
Most VNs are untranslatable with mtool. The tool is mainly for rpgmaker and wolf engine. It does support kirikiri engine, which is used for VNs. The translation can bug out a bit though. But the mtool dev is pretty involved and if you ask him on discord he will try to fix the issue (he did for netorare princess for example, which is kirikiri and the translation hadnospaces for some reason).Anyone recommend getting the paid version of mtool or free to play the venus game? is the paid version a monthly subscription thing or one time buy?
How does the paid version work though? Is it like a one time purchase or monthly payment to use or something like T++?Most VNs are untranslatable with mtool. It can be pretty hard to find out which engine the game are using beforehand though.
You sub to the patreon, they send you a link to download the paid version in like 10 minutes. 30 days from that it stops working, as you are no longer a member (unless you keep paying the patreon sub). How does the paid version work though? If you're talking about the free translations, that's because the free translation switched from the Google API to Bing. Also I am not sure but I feel like Mtool has been a bit worse at translating lately. Maybe the games are using some more complicated stuff.
Yeah the Bing translator sucks so much assIf you're talking about the free translations, that's because the free translation switched from the Google API to Bing.
No I mean all translations. Like for example had a game where it was unable to take all text together and put it to make sense. If you're talking about the free translations, that's because the free translation switched from the Google API to Bing.
Ah, okay. I don't pay the Patreon, so I had no idea the quality slippage was happening in the pay-walled parts, too.No I mean all translations. Like for example had a game where it was unable to take all text together and put it to make sense.
It took every new row as a new sentence to translate. So you would have dialogue window of 5 rows and they would all be disjointed.
