requesting feedback about this concept.

since I've been thinking about it since coming up with it recently.
an NTR board game... with dice rolls and pieces moving across.
there's turns for mc, fmc, and villain

Here's few gameplay points:

The Board Game
  • board contains branching paths, but ultimately goes back to starting point we call "Home"
  • like traditional board games, it is turn-based where you roll dice and move your piece accordingly
  • participants are: Player, Villain, FMC. Each of you have your own piece
  • FMC's piece will be the center of gameplay
    • events are triggered on pieces where she land in
    • Day advances when she returns to starting point. Everyone's energy recovers to full 100.
  • We have day / calendar system, and every FMC lap it advances the day
    • At certain points in the calendar, special seasonal events can trigger (ADV scenes with choices)
  • the spaces on the board will have different "districts" (residential, classrom, clubs, city).
    • events are based on the district where it was triggered
board.png

Player Turn
  • Roll 2 dice. can do action on space you land in
  • Place "Invitation" in this space. -30 energy.
    • when FMC lands on your Invitations, it triggers that event
    • invitations can include:
      • [Classroom] talk classroom
      • [Club] swimming pool
      • [Residential] karaoke
      • [City] date park
      • [City] date mall/movie
      • [City] love hotel ♥
    • at random, FMC has chance to trigger your invitations if she missed the spot by 1 space
    • you gain mc♥ if she triggers your invitation. value varies depending on invitation.
  • Can remove "Traps" made by the villain (only visible traps) -10 energy.
  • Setup camera into this space.
    • even after leaving this space, camera lets your see traps and events up to 2 range of it
  • Setup ward. prevents bad events from happening within 1 range of this space
  • Bicycle. move forward 2 spaces. -20 energy.
  • Passing the FMC while moving in the board, you can trigger an invitation immediately. Stops movement.

Villain Turn
  • Roll 2 dice. it can do an action on space it lands in
  • It can remove your Invitation and replace it with a Trap.
  • Place "Traps" in an empty space. Few examples:
    • [Residential] stalk to her at home
    • [Residential] train chikan
    • [Club] pool swimsuit bad event
    • [Club] art club nude modeling
    • [City] part-time casino bunny outfit
    • and more...
  • Traps are invisible!
    • You can only see and remove traps if player piece is within 1 range of them.
    • Why invisible? This means....
    • For the mystery, when FMC lands on a space, you don't know if something happened
    • If you have setup a camera within 2 range where she landed in, you CAN see it happen
    • For those events you missed and want to see, check in-game SNS. it will not show up until X days after
    • I am hoping this satisfies both who want mystery, and those who just wants to get it on, by having ability to place cameras everywhere, or not at all. It plays into your resource management, cameras are worth $ after all, and up to you to spend it elsewhere.
  • Event progression
    • If FMC lands exactly on the trap, it progresses that event.
      • Notice I say progress, it's NOT "one-time and she gets taken" type of scenario
    • Events are progressions. FMC will not immediately fall or agree to the enemy.
    • At first triggers, she will either refuse him, ignore him, fight back.
    • However, if she triggers the same trap/event many times, there will come a time she will allow acts with enemy.
      • Notice I said trigger the same trap. This means triggering pool bad event will only advance that event. It will not advance any other trap, like chikan, which has its own progress.
    • It is your job to detect and remove these traps across the map before any event progresses enough.
  • Passing the FMC while moving in the board, it can trigger a trap immediately. Stops movement.

FMC Turn
  • Roll 2 dice. triggers the Invitation or Trap in the space where she lands in.
  • has chance to trigger player invitations up to 1 range. does not do this for traps.
this just shows her affection for the player, and that she actually prefers you
  • She has a different path depending on the day.
    • Mon Tue Wed Thu - she moves through class, club, residential districts
    • Fri - she moves through class, city, residential districts
    • Sat Sun - she moves through city, residential districts
  • She can place "Invitation" on spaces herself
    • If you land on her invitations, its event will trigger. These are the same events as your invitations.
You see, you're not the only one doing the effort. She also loves you.
    • If enemy lands on her invitations, they will be removed and trigger any of its trap as it wishes.
It's like, she invited you behind school building, but you didn't come, the enemy did, and now...

Other gameplay points
  • FMC has mc♥ (player affection) and cor♥(corruption) levels.
    • Gain mc♥ if Invitations are tirggered
    • Gain cor♥ if Traps are triggered
    • Determines if FMC will fight back during trap events, if you keep mc♥ at certain % against cor♥.
    • The mc♥ value helps the chance that FMC will trigger an invitation 1 space away from where she landed... or with enough cor♥, she may be able to trigger traps instead?
    • The mc♥ value will determine how far she allows in vanilla H events.
    • The values can affect outcomes of the seasonal events in calendar
  • Spaces that do not have Invitations or Events have effects similar to traditional board games:
    • Move X spaces forward, move X spaces back
    • Cannot move for Y turns
    • Win lottery, get $100
    • It rains, -20 energy
    • Nothing happens, etc...
  • Player Class when you start a game
    • Athletic: can move 1 more space forward or back after dice roll
    • Cyberrunner: improves camera range by 1 space on both directions
    • Exorcist: wards protects the fmc for 1 more range, and lasts 2 more turns
    • Netorase: can place traps yourself
    • Wimp: can only place 1 invitation per day, unable to remove traps
    • Charmer: doubles all mc♥ gains
    • etc... suggestions welcome
  • FMC Class when you start a game
    • Pure: cannot trigger traps (to those who only want vanilla)
    • Slut: starts with 50 cor♥. dobules cor♥ gains
    • Serious: goes to club everyday, and only goes to city every Sunday
    • Childhood Friend: Starts with 50 mc♥, but half mc♥ gain onwards
    • etc... suggestions welcome

Principles
  • If at all possible, I'd like to satisfy as more people as possible - even those with opposite preferences. e.g. Attempt to bridge the gap between who want mystery and surprise vs those who want to see events immediately.
  • FMC is not a slut at the start of the game. Slow corruption as she will fight back, and only when she triggers traps many times, and reaches specific corruption levels will the events progress.
  • Replayability. Different boards you can play. Different Player and FMC class every time you start a game.
  • No save scumming. Everything is auto-saved in one file. If something bad happens, take responsibility.

the moment the player/reader confirms the women having sex with someone else visually the NTR Mystery is over. If this is done early in the game then it's not NTR Mystery but a NTR Drama. think more Hercule Poirot story vs. a Columbo episode. something like Henteria Chronicles, Chapter 1 is NTR Drama, Scars of Summer is NTR mystery and something like
Spiral Legend V let you choose which one you want. For the gaptax game if you search for the MC wife it stops being Mystery cause you can see quite clearly what she doing with the pixel art.

Seems fun and simple concept. But Im not sure if I'll enjoy it as an ntr game. When it's a porn game whose outcome is predominantly contingent upon RNG/Dicerolls as it's main gameplay to trigger important events, I find that it tends to evoke a sense of dissatisfaction, at least from my perspective.

Applying rng in your game is not bad, like combat/event dicerolls during a battle from Nymphomania Priestess. You might not get the desired result/bull harassment during battle sometimes, but at least it's a minor impact and can be repeated at ease.

Dungeon with Girl has some rng mechanics as well, but it doesnt deter much from the important events of the game.

In the end, this is just my humble opinion. I see the game like Monopoly, which I must rely on my adversaries to step on my plots to win. I think when it comes to ntr games, it's still better to make it as a game of drama and narrative , not a game of luck.

Bro, your discussion was:

Saying that it's bad because other games do it differently.
I give you a game that has done that and is liked and instead of acknowledging it, you essentially said "I don't like it so it doesn't count."
that's not a discussion, that's just an opinion.
I never said it was bad because other games do it differently, I said I dont like having to go to a recollection room after every scene because what was shown wasnt good enough.

What is telling me about another game doing? Nothing. I dont like Scars of Summer, just because you do and think its good then great for you I guess, I have no requirement to think just because you found it good and its on DLSite that that somehow means I am obligated to voice my displeasure with it.

A discussion can be a back and forth of opinions, have you never been on reddit, twitter or Youtube comments?

(Also I never insulted anyone or made petty remarks like "you are looking for attention")

The corruption proceeds gradually. Literally the first sex happens after 6-8 scenes. Not enough for you?
nah, not 4 that, i mean, shouldn't the FMC have predicted from the beginning that the investigation would be deliberately dragged out until she completely corrupt? The problem here is not her endurance, but her intelligence.

I agree with this completely, you saw into the concept and these are the fun feedbacks to brainstorm with.
Thank you!

The game monopoly was exactly what I had in mind when formulating this concept. Spaces that can be controlled by players and things happening when others land on it.

I understand the issues with RNG-type games, and is exactly one of my worries also.
However, it addresses one of the common issues with NTR games:
"so I have to lose to get NTR'd? it feels netorase if I just let it be."
RNG is one that avoids that, but it does have its own drawbacks

that's why I added a bit of strategy, like removing traps, wards, ranges. now you get NTR'd not by letting it happen, its just you didnt do enough to prevent it from happning. however, it's still a dice roll and I feel all that isn't enough to offset the RNG displeasure.

at one point I even thought that player and enemy do not have pieces, so the places where you put wards, and trap scanning isn't dependent on your own dice roll, but you can do it anywhere in the board. but it removes some of the "fun".

also the issue with RNG-triggered events is that things can happen without proper time precedence. so this event happens at its final stage where she's fallen and enjoys the villain, but this new event triggered the first time and she's still reluctant. point is, there's no "managed" / carefully crafted main story timeline.

I tried to address this by having the unavoidable seasonal events based on calendar. this will be the main story events that will reflect what happened throughout the turns using mc♥ and cor♥. spring cherry blossom viewing, summer beach event, culture festival, halloween, christmas events will be the character development, and holds the scenes together, and tries to make sense of the events triggered on the board.

in the end probably comes to the execution, if enough strategical choices can be made, with enough to control the outcomes, and if story-wise the calendar events can make sense of the individual triggers.

don't you think that would apply in the same way here then?
I mean feel free to stop replying and move on, you are the one who initiated a conversation with me. My original comment that started all this was just me telling someone my opinion on why I didnt like the game ironically enough.

Dose it? I don't remember much pixel art revealing NTR in the early parts of the game. I remember shadow art and while that makes it pretty obvious I don't think it counts as a reveal was my thinking. It has been some time since I've played it. well MC can miss these events so might been that.

nah, not 4 that, i mean, shouldn't the FMC have predicted from the beginning that the investigation would be deliberately dragged out until she completely corrupt? The problem here is not her endurance, but her intelligence.
Eh.. Why would she even predict it? She didn't know who the traitor was and what choice did she have against blackmail anyway?
It's just a trigger, enough reason to start the corruption.

To put it simply, I think your concept will work as a normal porn game. Where ntr will punish you depending on your luck. I know there some people out there that loves to make their main objective to avoid ntr as much as possible. As an ntr-focused game, I dont think this will be a fun one to play with.

I hope this wont damper your enthusiasm in your game.Think of it as a challenge, or "prove me wrong" situation.

However, it addresses one of the common issues with NTR games:
"so I have to lose to get NTR'd? it feels netorase if I just let it be."
That's why there are choices/a way to represent a choice presented in most of ntr games, you as the player are just simply choosing that route to see the outcome of events, it doesnt really convey netorase imo.

I also dont mind straightforward paths in ntr. Theyre mostly predictable , but when the narrative and scenes are decent, Im content.

requesting feedback about this concept.

since I've been thinking about it since coming up with it recently.
an NTR board game... with dice rolls and pieces moving across.
there's turns for mc, fmc, and villain

View attachment 2952277

Looks nice. The auto-saved part hurts a bit. Makes me remeber dark souls

Man how weird to discuss about what NTR is right. Everybody has different tastes so we will never be with one opinion. Let´s just say that everyone is wrong and be done with it........ yeah i am also wrong hahahaha

Now on a weird note I have quite the weird topic you see...... there was this game "MajiLove ~Watashi Negative~" that looked really nice but it was just released for a few days and then it dissapeared. Did anyone obtain it before it dissapeared? The game looked so nice at the time that i saved the name but didn´t have the means to obtain it in the store

The synopsis was something like this:
The main character, Hina, has collapsed on the beach of an unknown island for some reason.
Until just now, Hina was on a school trip and was supposed to be on the ferry.
Hina works with her male homeroom teacher, who also collapsed on the beach, and arrives at a village in another world.
The two go to the village lord's mansion, but end up being imprisoned in a prison along with a male teacher.
Even though Hina has a boyfriend she just started dating, she is stuck in a closed room in a dungeon with no escape.
The evil hand of a male teacher who lusted after Hina was about to approach her...

I forgot, there's also another ntr game that has rng elements on it. Tennants of the Dead. There's a lot of flaws in it, but if it's properly executed and balanced , it will definitely become the top 1 game that NTRMAN will make. (Most of the scenes in the game was meh and it needs more variations like adding closeup perspectives)

When it comes to ntr, I think a concept based on the game "60 seconds!" will be a good one. I dont mind seeng more of it honestly, a nuclear fallout theme, or even if it's another zombie themed with different set locations. Heck , I can see a stranded island survival can work as well.

the moment the player/reader confirms the women having sex with someone else visually the NTR Mystery is over.
I always like Spiral mystery NTR, the game kept you on the edge, teasing you that the NTR has happening when it was not, i never knew when the NTR would happen or if it already happened. I don't get the same feeling from Scars of summer or the gaptax game because you know when the NTR is happening.

this is actually a good point. it made me rethink my priorities.
this is also questioned by the fact in under FMC Classes, there's pure class that fully avoids NTR.
I didnt include it, but there are also future concepts like customizing players, like if you remove the male enemy, and add 2 more female players, it becomes a harem game.
im also starting to question my ntr focus.

I hope this wont damper your enthusiasm in your game.Think of it as a challenge, or "prove me wrong" situation.
this is a good feedback nonetheless.
i see perspectives that need to be addressed even at this stage, so we can formulate alternative paths and approach we can do early on, and not discover it late where we're already deep

thank you!
