Pixiv and pinterest were definitely worth using before AI made searching for good indie stuff impossible. I used to have a pixiv sub, not anymore now.

deviantART I will agree was on the decline well before that. They actually train on the work you submit too, no one should use that site lmao.
I remember when digital art itself faced tons of scrutiny back in the day. While AI art is different, I think there's a huge survivorship bias happening... for every successful AI game we see, there are 100+ failures we don't.

Actually had a poll about this on Discord.

Most people preferred quality hand-drawn 2DCG over good AI art.

However, most also preferred good AI-generated art over mediocre hand-drawn work.

One of these is definitely easier to achieve than the other, which I think explains a lot about the current landscape.

Yes, AI looks great and many prefer it over mediocre hand-drawn work. You are not wrong.

That being said, I don't mind reading a good AI game. It's just that time is super-limited, so most AI games get filtered out because of pre-existing experiences. But if there are good things being said about it, like NTR Phone, I’m willing to give it a try. I've probably consumed more AI content than I care to let on lol.

I just saw that you’re the dev of "Blurring the Walls." I've actually heard good things about your game recently, so I’ll probably check it out when I have time. Just one question though: I’m all about the netorare but can you explain if it's netorase or netorare? Your signature says no NTR, but the itchio label says NTR lol.

I want to punch a wall and cry, so I'm wondering if the NTS turns into NTR at some point. ><

my god those numbers (i once subbed too).
but i never actually checked, but god damn. laura is ♥ btw
akari is ♥ too

some models these days actually train on datasets that respect artists who opt-out.
e.g. , that say on their description:
All images has been trained with both captions (when available) and tags, artists' names have been removed and source data has been filtered based on our Opt-in/Opt-out .

Call me crazy but kinetic novels/linear stories are the very best for actually telling a coherent story and building up tension. So many times I see people bashing games for "ugh I got no choice, its not even a GAME ehmergerd". Okay so what? You cant trust the player to make a coherent story and buildup by themselves.
Full on agree, I don't like games that split into 40 different endings. I do like the aspect of walking around and discovering shit myself though(rpgm games)

I accept that AI is inevitable. Might have played a few AI games myself, heh. His game is pretty good, so he deserves props.
I like the ethical programs but sadly most users still use the big ones, and there’s no way to tell which AI image was ethically sourced.

I'm more annoyed that the low barrier of entry has enabled bad actors to post weakass NTR. I go to communities like r/netorare and it's the same guy spreading his NTR AI slop everywhere. IT'S NOT EVEN NTR, just a woman having a sex with a random guy two pictures in. **cries**

The annoying thing is that he’s still getting clicks because AI art is that good, whereas before he would have to pay an artist and get filtered out. These “NTR comics” dont even mention the MC at all, smh.

I'll be honest, I've been tempted to use stable diffusion to create artwork for my own NTR game, and then hand animate the scenes.

These comments do give me pause though, as I wouldn't want a backlash. Do people have any examples of GOOD games that make use of AI, as well as really BAD use?

Personally, I don’t care as long as the NTR is good. Most AI looks great (it’s trained after the best art), but I think these games stand out:

Whatever melantha is doing with their models
I believe the creators here draw over the AI art and spend a lot of time editing, so it's consistent.

Steam also has a ton of AI games that feature animation in them, if you were looking for animation examples.

As for bad ones, there are many, but I don’t think it’s good to call people out like that.

Just don't use AI art AND have bad NTR o_O

I'd pay to read NTR with this art (even if it's AI)

But this type of AI art takes a lot of brushing up, so my dreams of COTE NTR will be dashed for now.

Interesting, thanks. I just played netorase phone for a while and wasn't in love with it. The phone interface and the pacing is clever, but I agree with you that the art is slightly low-effort and quite static. I would certainly HOPE I put more time into slightly more exciting art.

Something about it just always feels like slop. I can't place my finger on it.

So this thread is now evolving from discussions of NTR games to digital artist getting NTR'ed.

Pragmatic approach for most people would be:
If AI art is easy, just switch to it, make banks on "the job" and continue your passion of drawing non AI art, isn't that what most regular people do? working (for the money) is mostly not about passion or fun. It's sad sure, but reality is like that.

Also jobs get killed every now and then, people upskills all the time, not that your years of drawing is going to waste (but it does feel kinda bad (when you invest 'time' on the wrong thing)), cut your losses, people need to learn and adjust to what the free market really wants. The velocity of that mentioned dev is amazing even if it's AI slop.

Some doomer might argue that it kills x,y,z and the art of making it itself, well... that happens multiple times already throughout history, and will happen again. I dont think art of x is going away in today's age, it will be there if needed, archived in The Internet.

About stolen things:
A human learns the same way as AI learns, stealing knowledge, patterns and imprinting it on our neurons.

Bottom line: Champions adjust to ride the tide of change. No crying in the free market, lest you became those miserable bitter just stop oil.

But AI art tends to use the same-y style, either the generic one, or that one korean look one, or the babyface one. There isn't really that much variation on public mass generated stuff.
Thats the biggest issue imo. They dont bother changing the style and just use the defults, so it all looks the same.

guys any recom. for mmd ntr creators ?
I made a post about 1 creator in the SAO game
https://f95zone.to/threads/sword-ar...agic-part-2-v0-75-fujino.154352/post-15405195
then there are these:
- follow his videos about Izumi, they havea long narrative of mystery NTR and corruption.

not MMD but 3D
has NTR but focused on corruption still Blendy is the best 3D that i have seen.

those are the ones that I currently remember for NTR

Hey guys, so it seems I can't translate this game: with Mtool... Do you know about any other program that I can use for this? I really want a good translation like what MTOOL offers, with chatgpt... Is there something like that somewhere? It doesn't matter if I have to pay(?)
Thanks in advance guys, you would really help me a lot
as another quote replied you, in sugoiVn there is a file you have to download and just replace the file of your game with it. I recommend keeping the old file in case a bug happens you can use that to pass the line creating the bug and then return to the translation. also the translations are machine translated so they are not good according to people that like better translations. I personally don care.

may I interest you with PVC AI art?
you know that Is something I would actually want to see, it is a creative way to make AI art, and it is something a human would have trouble replicating. New Toy story Requiem! the game

Well… digital artists getting NTR’ed certainly fits with the theme, hehe. :giggle:

Despite the major drawback displacing artists, I’m actually quite excited to see what AI can do, especially when it comes to animation and making immersive VR worlds. Since we are a niche medium, hentai anime will probably never rise to its early 2000s heyday. Right now, the animation side is not promising, especially with the major AI tech censoring adult themes, but hopefully we will have an uncensored, refined model in the future.

There is essentially, no open-world VR NTR, so if AI could emulate those kinds of worlds in the future, we are in for a world of… amazing cuckoldry.

I believe the shift to majority-AI usage is inevitable, so I don’t criticize devs for using it. However, I do prefer the tangibility of hand-drawn art, so I have opted to use it in my novel.

One gripe I have is that the "AI NTR" being released right now is actually detrimental to my NTR browsing because it's literally… not NTR lol. I can’t find any good Oshi no Ko or Dress-up Doll NTR because these guys are literally spamming Marin with BBC and calling that “NTR.” The ones with text can be pretty decent, but sadly many are just textless and really low-effort (no post-editing and girl doesn't even resemble Marin).

I need a little more backstory to consider something NTR, but something tells me the guy making a hundred images a day probably doesn’t care about that distinction haha.
