That is what the 'hero' in this story would take. If it's a position, then the 'hero' would take that position. If it's glory, or fame, then the hero would become better at it than the guy he's getting revenge on and take the glory and fame for himself.

Again, EVERYONE has something in life they don't want to lose, that's what a good revenge hero would target and take away.

Yeah, no. Other dudes wouldn't care, or could even gleefully cuck the MC if the MC had a wife that was hot and the dudes thought the MC was a wimp or inferior to them.

Some guys wouldn't care if the woman was married, in a relationship or anything else. Some would go after her BECAUSE she is in a relationship and supposedly off limits.

So why not go after the guys, if they knew she was married, and went for her anyway. Even if she invited them to do so and willingly cheated, the guys deserve what they may or may not get from the MC if they fucked her anyway knowing she was with some other dude. The guy who does that already broke the "bro's before hoes" idea because they put themselves before the MC, supposedly another 'bro, so deserve to be crushed.

I think you'd prefer a cuck, hotwife (another form of cuck) or sharing game if you want a MC who doesn't care if his wife fucks around. Most guys in a relationship would be furious at their wife/gf if they found she was cheating. Or they'd be happy to get rid of them when they find out and be done with her, usually after divorce where they take everything from her. Few would willingly stick around when she's fucking around, at least all the guys I have ever met in my life.

Hopefully this one won't go the cuck/sharing route as there are already dozens of those games on the site, and revenge games are extremely rare and we need more of them.

I interpretted their post as being about the toxicity of the relationship before the cheating. Because this is an awful relationship and I, too, prefer it when the relationship is good and loving but the cheating happens despite how good things are. It lands with better impact when you actually like them, otherwise it just feels like "good, whatever, I don't fucking like that character, I don't care"
Even worse when the protagonist is the cheater. WHERE is the fun of cheating on my significant other if I don't even like them? I need to have a good relationship for cheating to mean a thing to me.

I'm referring to when the FMC is faultless. Complex life circumstances lead to betrayal, long-term corruption, or logical blackmail that, for example, could lead to a very long prison (Or execution) sentence for the MC (just an example)
In these stories, logically, the MC shouldn't hate the FMC because she had no choice (provided the story is logical)
Anyway, I don't mean to say this game is bad. I haven't played it yet and I have a good feeling about it. I'll play it soon

Even if the guys happened to know that she was married, and I doubt that all of them do, they still aren't the ones cheating on you. Your wife is the one cheating on you. Your wife is the one repeatedly breaking her vows to you, not the dudes that she's getting with.

If anyone deserves to be the target of your revenge, she does first and foremost. If you want to stick it to the dudes after, fine I guess, but get your priorities straight.
