That my friend is the power of sheer unbridled autism. A true artist, such as Nyl, dedicates time, effort and sanity in the pursuit of perfection.
While the mediocre will only work towards "good enough", the schizo will muss and fuss over every little details, until perfection is achieved or until the little voices in his head tell him it's finished.

Nyl has said that he uses outside help to do certain things like create models and clothing etc... He tweaks them to his liking along the way but the basics of rigging them he pays people to do for him. He also had somebody do fluid simulation for him in his last bordello preview at least. But I think he may learn that skill himself given the time.
He is open about the help he receives but rarely gives names of the people that he employs. He also has asked for people with certain skills to message him for a possible job. He seems to only use help on tedious, or drawn out things in order to keep a steady output at the quality he wants. With the quality and fan base he has, I'm almost sure he has attracted help from non porn pros who want to remain anonymous.
He never gives exact specifics on who does what but I suspect he focuses on doing all the animation and set ups himself.

Seeing as the majority of Nyl's content is apparently Baldur's Gate related, I have a question: As I've never played any of the Baldur's Gate games, and only really know of the series from Nyl's work, is Baldur's Gate 3 any good? And by that I mean is it actually any fun to play? I've heard really good things about the game, but I don't want to necessarily jump in without knowing what I'm in for, if that makes any sense. Also, does anyone know what Nyl has planned for the next animation/picture?

The game is great. Do what I did, pirate it first, play for a few hours, then buy it... or not. I personally wanted to support the devs. This level of quality is very rare.
I have never in my life played a turn based or dnd game because they never appealed to me. However, I think this game makes it really easy to get into the turn based genre. I have ~35 hours or so in bg3 atm. It's still an acquired taste. My sibling could not get into this shit.
On the topic of what nyl is working on, a while back he posted a small teaser from the next bordello release, so I'm assuming he's working on that.

It's the simpliest dnd game i have ever played. It's literally made for people that have never touched the genre, and it also has almost nothing with BG 1 and 2.
I can't think of a better place to start. Kingmaker was the exact opposite. Hard rules and "don't know what that and this means? your problem".
I am telling you this as someone who plays these games for 20 years.
