Yes, I understood you didn't mean just housing. But using Nyl again as an example with my 50% take home...thats over 200k. Unless these creators are living far beyond their means, money isn't the problem. As far as Patreon cutting you off, and I'm looking at this from an American perspective, that isn't any different from anyone else. Most states don't require a cause to fire you, and even if they did its pretty easy to come up with one, so patreon creators are just like the rest of us.

I concede your point about offloading the work, not everyone wants to do that.

I think I'm just too pure for this world. I think if people are paying you for a good/service you have a responsibility to deliever it in a timely manner. Over a year on a single animation while taking breaks for other mini projects and animation challenges just ain't it.
You can stop patting yourself on the back for being "pure", because you don't understand the first thing about being a creative. Creators are most definitely not like the rest of us. Being one myself my entire life since my first memories, going to school to be a "professional", having a multi-decade career as one, and volunteering as a creative director for a large un-named organisation with 500+ creative members, I do believe I can say with certainty – not one of them is like you, or a "normal" worker/business owner type. Not one.

And then there is this porn genre, where you work in your free time anonymously, with a thousand ideas going through your head, trying to pick the one a) that you want to do; and b) that will get the most praise that you can only privately smile at a number on a screen how favorable it was to your fans. Don't forget the excuses you have to make to friends and family to free up time to do it, and NEVER let the secret out for fear of losing everything else.

Tl;dr - you don't have a clue what a creative is, does, or goes through to produce your goon material.

Overwatch Public Model Port 2.0

Download:

Overview:
It's been a little while since my last model release, and I've been getting quite a few people asking about some of my newer ones. So now seemed like a good time to fix them up and put them out there. This release is a bit different since a lot of these models haven't seen much action yet, but I plan to use them more in the future.
First off, what's in the port?
5 Models:
1. Ashe (futa)
2. Brigitte (futa)
3. Illari (female)
4. Junker Queen (futa)
5. Juno (female)
Keep in mind these models are made for Blender 4.2 or higher. Like last time, each model is in an individual packed .blend file, which means that the textures are stored in the file itself. Also like last time, the models are made using my BG3 models as a base, so a lot of the underlying technology is going to be from those. To that end, you can check out as well as for more information on how the bodies and materials work.
Some of these models are new, some of the models are a little older. Ashe, Brigitte, and Juno are the most up-to-date and share the most features. Junker Queen is pretty old, despite being updated for this release. And then Illari is in between. Some of them also have a few different hairstyles and accessories.
Each .blend file comes with most of the bones keyframed for organizational purposes. For most of them, they'll have my proportional tweaks at frame 0, while keeping the bone original proportions at -10. You probably don't have to worry about that stuff though. Just keep in mind if you're going to be working with the models, make sure your keyframing is enabled. And if you want to pose without keyframes, then delete what's already there.
Like my BG3 models, you can find the IK toggles in the custom properties of the armature object. Just select the rig and navigate to properties in the 'n' menu, or in the object section of the properties panel.
And that's about it. General improvements over the last batch of models include rigging updates like x-axis mirroring, more/better drivers, material updates, etc. I'll probably be tweaking what major bugs or glitches I find soon after release, as well as adding to this post anything I've forgotten.

To those who ask if Nyl has a team of helpers, there's a list right there! Not sure how all encompassing it is but it should answer some people's questions.

Nyl has often mentioned other creators aid/work, the idea that he works alone with zero help have always been from lackluster gooners. Part of the money they get from subscribers goes directly to paying VA, FX, and other creators he uses to finalize his videos.

One thing I like about Nyl is how they remind me of certain creators, like InCase, where they openly discuss their journey in learning or developing new ways of doing things either for efficiency or just as a change of pace. I think some people forget that this type of exploratory development is one of the reasons Nyl started a Patreon.

I like Nyl's work not just as porn, but as animations and styles. Like when he started the Camera POV look over the disembodied free-floating camera. Granted, I took a bunch of electives years ago back in college about animation (hand and cg) as well as vfx, and photography. If someone isn't in to that aspect, I can get that.

Is the Tracer model that Nyl uses not his own model? I thought that model and the JQ model weren't his because they weren't in the first model release (Pharah/Ana/WM/Mercy). But it seems it may have just been because they were older? But JQ is here in this new one and updated, and Tracer isn't.

Who said anything about being a victim or "persecuted"? We do what we do and enjoy it for the most part, until someone comes along and thinks they could do it better, or "manage" it better in this case. We're not individual factories (yet), and the ones that decide to create a studio or factory, will tell you that it's also not like any other business to manage.

NOTE: also, please don't mix us up wit the Gen Z wannabe creators, or the loudest ones on social media these days. Truth is that there are very few up-and-coming talented artists in any of the creative arts, because I will agree with one thing, they don't know what work or discipline is.

I think they're partially his.
I recall him mentioning building or modding their bodies, but crediting someone else for modeling and rigging the heads and faces of Juno & JQ.

I could be wrong though.

What makes them so bad compared to the previous models? To me they're basically the same level of quality.
People already mentioned the face being slightly off on the Brigitte. Could have been better tbh. I'm fine with it, but I can see where they're coming from. Other than that, I don't know lol

Does Nyl create every model by scratch or does he keep reusing the same model and tweaking it? I notice the same moles in every spot on the Overwatch models.

Really disappointed with Brigitte and Ashe (2 of my fav characters).
He could've done way better after his god-style rework of Pharah, Widow and Mercy.
Have to disagree. Ashe maybe, but that's mostly just because of the cock model looking a bit too close to Sindels models. Brigitte on the other hand is amazing. Easily my favorite one, besides Widowmaker. Nyl really managed to convey her personality pretty well and the pubic hair is a nice little touch as well.

Does Nyl create every model by scratch or does he keep reusing the same model and tweaking it? I notice the same moles in every spot on the Overwatch models.
I'm guessing Nyl uses their own Baldur's Gate 3 models as a base and modifies them, so I wouldn't be surprised, if there are small similarities texture wise, between all of them.
