I see the MC from "Become a Rockstar" put on some weight... good for him, he looks a lot better with some muscle mass.
The framework is promising.

I like the renders, quite well done. While the Mom looks young she actually has an air about her that makes her seem much older which makes sense. Some women just look awesome even when they are in their late 40's and I think she believably looks like that.
Seems the first two girls use the same dialogue, just differing renders. I assume the dark-haired girl is setting up a Romeo / Juliette storyline. I like the sister and the crazy cousin though her choice to jump the MC seemed forced.
The MC is an idiot. No I don't buy that he's just naive. You'd have to be totally disconnected from reality to not know that your family are THE named mafia family in the city. Other kids in HS would have said something or you'd even just see references in the news. You think John Gotti's kids didn't know that their father was part of "our thing"? Given the father seems to be channeling Marlon Brando (I mean who does work in a tux, even Brando only did it "on the day of his daughter's wedding"), they are from Palermo and they are in "construction"? It's like it's a compilation of every Italian mafioso stereotype I've seen in the movies.
All that being said, I like the start of this. It has some good opportunities for mother-loving and the dialogue is written well with no Engrish. I'll be interested in seeing how it develops.

Liked it, but that was goofy as hell. But, I always contribute a bit to that when I get the chance to choose how characters refer to one another. Had to change the uncle's name to "Ay Yo Paulie" so I could hear Stallone say it in my head every time. Literally laughed out loud when I realized my man was wearing a tux in his home office. Also, don't smoke weed kids; you'll end up fucking your cousin in an incredibly forced way.
A rather inauspicious start if we're supposed to be taking the mafioso shit seriously- felt like a pile of bargain bin tropes dumped on top of each other. Surprised characters didn't shake their heads and mutter "Marone" after a particularly perplexing development. But color me optimistic nonetheless.
Happy to put this one in the "Let's wait for a couple more releases and expect to deem my enjoyment a fluke" pile.

I do prefer when MCs are not named, but when I read young man.... There's no need to feel down, I say young man! Get your self off the ground. I say young man!
You can Rename the MC at the Postboard. Just click the Pic hit Reset and choose a new name. While it doesn't affect the earlier scenes every scene after he will have your chosen name.
