Check your antivirus, it is working for me. I use Nod32 and it is not eating the steam_api.dll. I would guess it is windows defender eating their files as so many people seems to experience the failure.

i still have steam_api.dll inside the game, but the game is still not run

Yeah it turns out my anti virus kept quarantining the file. All I had to do was make the file an exception from being scanned by the anti virus and it worked.

Thanks for sharing, works on my PC. Using windows 11 and just had to update the DirectX drivers.
This games version only has 4 routes available, just play the japanese version if you want to play the other heroine routes minus it not being translated obviously.

It isn't running. I did download some WMVCore.dll that it said was missing, but it still didn't run. Maybe it needs Japanese locale or something. Can someone confirm?

Edit: Nope. Still gives me error messages. Is there no other way to run the game?
