It was a disagreement between the programmer and the artist, he said he would change the artist and that the updates would be more frequent, but the game ended up abandoned.

Only the developers know what actually killed the game but from an outside prospective. It was going fine, then people (pulled in by the good art) complained that it was an NTR only game. Devs had to redo a lot of stuff to add non ntr options and somewhere along the line stopped talking to the artist. Artist leaves the game because of this. Devs out of respect or something decide to remake the game again without any of the original art instead but struggle to find a new artist. iirc they did find one but ended up stopping anyway. Sounds like its on the devs to me especially since they couldn't reconsile with the original artist. Had to be more than just radio silence because that is easily fixed by giving updates.

They didn't struggle to find a new artist, they announced a new artist (JJJ) a few days after Azzier left.

That's not even close to what happened..
Since I was a patreon at the time I can tell, they had a team each with his own task, the artist was always ahead with his work and he was even taking care of the discord and the community alone. Thing is while he was always ahead, the rest of the team was always giving excuses and delaying their work, to the point where they said a new version would be released soon and the whole team went MIA after that. Because of all this and to take care of his personal health the artist left. After that the team announced a new artist but nothing was really done.
All of this info was revealed by the artist after he left.
tldr: The artist was trying really hard, the rest of the team wasn't.

art of this game was top notch but rpg maker is for me rly painfull to play but i was like meh im gonna try it the i found out is mainly NTR so i just turned it off and never looked back dont even know why i still have this game as watched
