well unfortunately the sex stats are not translated and the keyboard control descriptions are not either. Though that's to be expected since those are images and not lines of text that are easily modified with a translator program everything else though seems to be a top notch translation

Hmm... Seems other games from the same circle that have been uploaded on here were reviewed mediocre at best; how does this compare?

It's got a bigger file size, so there might be more to it- however, I'm tired of getting my hopes up.

Its the same as the other games by the same circle with a little better art thats all. Gameplay is boring, corruption isn't implemented well, and the scenes aren't good. The translation is good though.

On the other hand, the other two games I tried from them were horribly boring to the point where even the art and scenes didn't save them.

(To really get some lore of the game we need these texts, so just don't care and play or just wait for Kagura release)

Well in the event that anyone else here is enough of a masochist to want to try to do a pure run, you probably shouldn't bother. As far as I can tell there's one mandatory scene to gain access to the third bounty as the game lied about 100k being a way to buy the plot token. Unless I'm missing something.

Haha thanks. I REALLY REALLY wanted to photoshop the images (I did the menu screen and it turned out ugly enough that I realized it wasn't worth my time to do the other ones). I figured most people who play JRPGs or hentai games know their keyboard layouts, and even if not, it's not exactly like there are special buttons anyway. The sex menu not being translated is a bummer though, sorry.

As a rule, I play through every game I translate, and I hated that the original game forces you to lose your "pure run" as a story plot device (the mandatory scene you were talking about in the brothel). I included the "alternative option" (see the Improvements section of the Read Me I included in my translation patch) as a way to help any "pure runners". Unfortunately, I didn't have time to do the same for another scene, but I figured it was good enough for you who wanted virgin runs, haha.

Haha, no worries. I wrote a post a few minutes ago explaining my situation. But I enjoyed spending the time translating it, so don't feel bad for me. I'm already onto my next translation project (and about halfway done).

Uncensored? Excellent, I'm looking forward to it.
Just FYI, if anyone actually WANTS to keep my fan-translation (and all the other stuff I included) intact, it's not especially difficult to de-encrypt the uncensored files, overwrite the censored files and rename them, and then re-encrypt the uncensored files back into the game. It IS time-consuming, but if there's enough interest, I'm okay with taking a few afternoons to do that.

Also, "pretty soon" ... If you know Kagura Games, you know that's likely measured in months, right?

Dude, that was one of the biggest regrets of my translation, you have no idea. I kept translating "Dagger" as "the dagger specialist" throughout the damn game, but I realized too late that that's actually her title (an epithet, like "Louise the Dagger", because she's known for her dagger skills). Sorry, it bugs me too.

Fan translations used to be good, but after all the mtl addicts here I can no longer trust anything that comes from f95.

I feel ya. I personally don't like MTL at all, and I've got some trauma from playing games where "translators" have basically just slapped Google Translate on them and called it an "English translation". But try this one out. I'm a native English speaker, and my education and career path are directly correlated to writing/editing. And I can also offer my experience if you want to go by the merit of my previous translations. I'm also welcome to feedback, as long as it's not "ur translation sux lol".

"Sex Stats" needs to be a tag. A lot of games have simulation and RPG tags and are just scene collectors. Games like this with stats show that there is some sort of freedom.

I actually would like to see a tag that would allow someone who likes to mess with stats or number to get different results. Kinda like trying to get the best score.

Well just read the overview and you will roughly know what the translation quality is. This seems like very high quality work to me.

What baffles me is why there are always never any screenshots of the in-game scenes when it comes to fan translation from this site. Every other ENG translation releases do (umlf, Kagura's, DLsite's, etc.) but not translators on here.

Coincidentally, MTL also never has any screenshot of its poetry in the actual game.

Yes, I know Kagura Games is translating this one, as I think I've mentioned in my Read Me, my ULMF thread, and in the actual translation of the game itself. I wanna say I def respect the company and since mine is a fan-translation, their professional translation is obviously far more likely to be closer to the actual Japanese; in fact, I'd also question whether or not that's a good thing, considering I intentionally deviate quite a bit from the Japanese text. That's because the Japanese text is often REALLY stilted or doesn't transliterate culturally, and I find I need to accentuate things to interest consumers (cue the complaints from the purists).

Anyway, please feel free to wait on Kagura if you want their translation. I started my translation of this game in January immediately after translating another game from the dev circle, and was nearly finished with this game when I heard about the news of Kagura choosing this game to translate. I didn't want to waste my efforts and I enjoyed this game greatly, so I kept going; I also figure that Kagura often takes a long time to translate games, which is understandable, and I know y'all are impatient af. This game was personally requested to be translated, FYI.
