I don't envy Griff and i hope he doesn't follow every advice we give Branching storylines that early in the game? That's gonna be a nightmare

Some of your party buffs are also pretty good self buffs. Have you allocated your talents?

If all fails you can also not have the fight at all. Some fights are quite though (i think?)

I have no turn to buff tho as i have to heal from the first hit which takes half my health and poisons me. Then while i’m healing i’m also getting hit so it made no difference anyway.
If by sheer luck i manage to whittle away some of their health there’s the guile skill check which basically insta kills me. It just seems like this fight is just made to not be fun. Perhaps i will give this game some time and hope this isn’t on purpose.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna take that scene out, so the player doesn't have to kill Rapto and he can be involved in something later. Sheva also comes off as a bit more bloodthirsty than intended in that scene as well (The optional gangbang associated it with it I also have a spot that it can be easily moved to, so it should all work out).

I actually like this version of Sheva, I love bloodthirsty characters especially when they aren't your enemies, so I vote for keeping it bloody. Instead of removing the scene I would prefer if you made it optional as in interrupting her before she starts shitting on him. That way you could still make the later scene for people who don't want to kill Rapto and it would allow for you to further develop the character.

That's the thing, without knowing the conditions before meeting him, a new player will quite easily be put in an impass. Which is what happened to me the first time, not enough cash, not enough agility, and once the gear is sold too weak to survive the fight.

Guy, what are your problem? Just use cheats if you came to the game for porn.

Not knowing which stats to which level will be required, is not the player's fault. You simply can not know the conditions, and since this happens fairly early on, and there are 0 activity to correct any miss, yes, a new player can get stuck if the agility and combat are too low. In case you haven't noticed, there are more than two options to level, and ending up under 20 for the only two actually useful at that event, is dead easy. If this happens this early on, I dread to think what will happen when the game will required 50+ skill checks.

It used to be called RPG.

I can pretty much guarantee that a large chunk of players will simply edit their stats, rather than replay everything from scratch once the game gets lengthier, the time needed tio redo everything, is simply not worth it, it is after all, just a game.

And what? To cheatered or not to cheartered, what's the difference? The main thing is to enjoy the game.

Only advice i can give is to restart. You are basically in the starting area.

I'm on the same line as you. Rapto is not the best guy but not first and in your world the morale is not the most valuable thing. Furthermore Sheva's reaction towards Rapto is overrated : after all she decided to go in his bed, not him. So Rapto could be an alternative according to the fact that Sheva hates him. The player could have at least to choose between the two characters.

The game is still in Alpha phase(meaning its still being worked on) like instead of making smart comments like this why not address the issue and then give points on how it could be improved. You can make ur point without sarcasm or smart remarks. After all, i'm sure u enjoyed other aspects of the game.

There is no WALKTHROUGH or walkthrough MOD for this, easily one of the games that REQUIRE it to get all the good stuff in each area that I am very likely to miss!

I don't think so but you can pretty much one shot enemy on easy mode if they didn't dodge your attack.
