I don't care of the origin, but in Sweden it always have been "fotboll" (pronounced foppol in my homewtown 
) since the late 19th century, so I refuse to use the word soccer. In NFL they play "Amerikansk fotboll" with their hands mostly. The two most famous Swedish players in NFL have both been Kickers, of course. One of them had a small role in Any Given Sunday and the other has the record of the longest field goal (65 yards) done in one of his 5(!) games.
Btw, liked the game and will continue to play it. Pity they don't have any players on the bench, my position when I played. I'll hope for no injuries then. Keep up the good work Dev!

Football wise, Martha is way above the rest in terms of fame, at least sport wise. I think the most famous US football player women is Hope Solo, especially since the whole world could see her pussy after the iCloud hacks.

If i may, Soccer is the countepart of Socio in spanish (and french now). It just means that you're a member of an association, not a sport name.
Brits were pragmatic when they named their sports :
- Football 'cause we play with the foot (or feet)
- Rugby 'cause it's the city where the rules of this particular form of "football" were created (Rugby football)
- GOLF 'cause "Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden" (this one maybe is a legend, don't know)
- Tennis from the french "Tenez" used in the "Jeu de paume" (french game), tennis ancestor, when serving

Like the game.. think the flow could be a little less choppy with more content in the scenes.. think it would flow a little smoother that way.. But with that being said, great renders and good story.. can't wait for more.
