That's okay, it's only a few days until the end of the month and the usual monthly post saying how close they are and it will be out in a week or so.

I love the game, and I've been a Patron of his since the first release. But he is about to hit 8 months since the last version came out. And I agree. It wouldn't be so bad if he gave realistic updates on the release time frame. I mean, on March 30th he said "It shouldn't take much more than a week or so...". Then almost a month later tells us it should be out "soonish". I don't think he's trying to scam us, but it is annoying.
That doesn't really change the fact he has missed literally every release date he has announced.

Wowsa! Look at the stuff percolating in stencil's head! Soon to come? Well, we never like to use the word "soon" with the stencil man, but we're highly anticipating nevertheless.
Monthly update: Makeup revolution edition
A quick and traditional end of the month update for everyone. Yesterday the 0.29 beta test build was released for testing (to patrons) and if nothing major comes up the real 0.3 release should be out once everything seems to work well enough. New visual effects, 2D-characters sprites and other good stuff. Still in my todo-list are some bug fixes and improvements to the new shader and display system. Also, a few images have to be fixed and rendered again. Finally, the script still needs some proofreading and general testing.
Also as I stubbornly promised at some point, I'll skip any Patreon payments until I finally manage to release 0.3 officially, so I'll skip this month's payments too.

I appreciate the effort he's put into the visuals. All the same I'd rather he focus on the story moving forward.

Well, finished several endings with Nina/Melissa. This is really incredible quality and length (no pun intended). Its definitely going on my paetron list. The character development is top notch as is the story development. About the only improvements I could think of is animation (not sure how that would work with the style though). Also would love to know how many endings/sub-endings there are? I didn't see specifics in the changelog, but I still need to check the paetron page.
I'm glad there's already 0.29 beta for patrons because it seems that the product isn't getting abandoned as I feared.

Did not expect it would be this good, honest. Tried this because of it's distinctive art then the story sucker punched me, plus the character development added much weight to that. This got almost all the stuff so right, made me want to see more renders for each scenarios and conversation, especially Melissa route. I sure do hope this won't get abandoned.
it reminds me of the experience i had with love and submission, came for the porn stayed for the story ;-)
but this game almost made me wet myself from laughing through its genius use of slapstic and sitcom...
well i'm off, trying to explore all paths this game has to offer
p.s. did anyone go through the trouble of writing a walkthrough?
I've never run across a walkthrough, but I know everything before the beach scene (when James asks the MC who he really likes) is irrelevant. Depending on your choice there, presently, you get either the Nina or the Melissa path, although there are good and bad endings of each.

Don't think so, at least not yet. I mean there are only two full routes there for now, and i'm still trying to figure out which choices sticks to a particular route. Considering how the very first time i played this and got Nina bad ending then instantly fell into suicidal mode for an hour or so. Yeah, WT would certainly be useful, perhaps in near future if some kind soul is not already on it.

Well I think the choice of route happens when melissa is being attacked on the street.If you interrupt it goes to melissa's route , if you do not interrupt it goes to nina's route. But I don't know what effects the bad and good endings tho.Hell I didn't even know there was a bad ending , I just learned from comments.I just played normaly and it turned out good ending in both routes.

This scene does not decide if you end up with Nina or Melissa. You can help her always.
In fact the choices at the beach affects the route only partly. There is something like score and the beach scene only adds a few points to the route.
Yes, for example you can cheat on Nina with Melissa in Nina's route and go Melissa route from there.
