In short, the majority of the things you mentioned simply aren't implemented yet, a shame because this seems to have a lot of promise.

and the dev is working on it all of these games released in progress are just that IN PROGRESS i have faith, he made a post today talking about the next update and what will be in it . This game is just getting started ...give it time

It's been mentioned before that you have to specifically unlock a machine that lets you save, and then use that machine to save. You can't just save whenever.

the save machine will open after your first night sleeping in the factory its in your room south of the bed , you can only save while in your room ........if you leave the room before saving the chance to save is lost for that day ......so save every morning after you wake up
Can someone explain me the gameplay loop please?
It seems I am missing something and I am heading, no matter what to game over.
So I have the girl fire up the farmer, it seems I can't have enough confidence to fire up the miner. (I think someone said he is not implemented in the game yet? Would have been nice if there was a hint of that in game... This was wasted confidence)
The girl loses roughly 10% confidence every night even the nights I bring in some "goods".
I can compensate for that by talking to her friend in town but as long as I do anything in town (an extra 10% loss per action) I slowly head toward 0 confidence and game over.
At the point I am at, I can still have her milk the farmer one more time and bring in 13 ml.
But at the end of the night the game still tells me there is "no food" for the village.
So what's going on? Do I need something else to make food? This is confusing.
In the report at the end of the night I see "0 ingredients" are the ingredients what I need to bring over? What are those? The carrots? The sperm? But I had plenty of that...

You need ingredients to make food, so water from the river, vegetables from mr matthews, etc.

Without power ingredients are useless.
The factory has to use power to process ingredients into food.
You fire up Mathews, milk him, get power from his sperm, that power is consumed turning ingredients into food and decreasing village hunger.
That being said, there is no win condition implemented yet. So even if you get village hunger down to 0% nothing happens.

I tried saving from the machine, but the machine gives me a denied sound everytime I try and press save

When you go to bed a table/machine next to the door from your bedroom light up.
That is your save machine, only works in the morning.
I think visiting other towns might make the scope of the game too large, but it sounds like an interesting idea. I think another change could be adding more dialogue with mr mathews and other characters. Maybe adding an event with him in town once a certain level is high enough. If animations are too much, just adding more images to depict a handjob would be enough. Maybe choosing where the cum goes (face, boobs, etc) could be an option.
