So I'm lost as to what to do next.

It's been a few days since I played so I may be missing something but I know I've done the grim
tale stuff through killing the girl-wolf-woodsman boss.

If I talk with Brunhilde and ask about my next assignment she says that she needs someone to check the foundations under Hoodton but it's over our paygrade right now.

I've just about talked with everyone, purchased all the stuff I might need to trigger something, and gone through every portal I can remember, but I can't figure out what I need to do to progress the story.

Any help is appreciated.

First you can do a quest for Frieda, her tale is in the forest tale then through another protal.
You can also save Fenris, the order portal is in frozen tale,

If you've done both go back to Grimtale, and explore the area, if you have Fenris he will lead you through the woods.

Why is this just 0.4.5 when 0.4.0 entry in the changelog says the plot and sex scenes are complete?

Right now when I check the status of my characters the both current and exp need to lvl up is presented as "------". Did I break the game or is it supposed to happen?

How do you actually gain corruption in the game?
Most actions make me loss corruption. I am at -37 corruption and even sexual events like reading porn makes me lose corruption.

While he is rude, he is correct. Corruption can't go down. For the story to progress corruption needs to go down. Ingrid is trying to become her true self by ridding any influence from her Dreamer (ie. Corruption)

Probable minor bug. In New Canistown(?) the disillusioned Order of the Claw soldier sounds like he's going to teach Wilhelm the Wolf Archetype, but he actually "just" gives you an extra skill slot and increased attack.

It's not your mediocre slut making simulator, if you want to fap, you will be dissapointed. Porn scenes are short and scarce. You need to grind for hours to advance the plot, also porn scenes tied to plot progression and not corruption. Corruption is a mere tool used by plot, it's not a measure of depravity.
As I said, if you want corruption and porn - there is none. You may leave.

Wilhem gets the Wolf archetype during a sex scene with Ulfina. So no, that was not a bug.

Yeah, I just reached that point. I think the dialogue from the Order of the Claw bit was probably written before the blowjob scene and didn't get updated.

Hmm, that's pretty much endgame territory. Are you still in the abstract dungeon? Because you were given this spiel about how in the abstract dungeon what mattered was how strongly you held onto your archetype or something so exp may be temporarily disabled.

I have unlocked the True Slut archetype and currently I am farming for AP. EXP is still disabled. Thankfully my characters are above lvl 40.

I like how you jump to conclusions by merely reading a single question. "How do you increase corruption?" "You're after a slut making simulator". again. i was merely asking how to increase corruption troughout the game, I was not asking for you to be an asshole about it.

I see, so the game is based on lowering your curruption. I figured since there is a negative meter for curruption there must also be a positive one.

Yep did both of those already, he is already back at his hut and now helps when there is a blue flame. I'm stuck shortly after where he leads you through the forest.

There is still the crystal blocking the path to under Hoodton if that helps.

Incidentally, although the corruption meter keeps going down you actually get more 'sexually adventurous' as you come to accept your nature. It's not (and won't be) handing out random blowjobs to people you meet on the street stuff, though.

Thankfully my characters are above lvl 40.

Above lvl 40 or at lvl 40? My highest level is 38, maybe 40 is just the level cap.
