Thinking about replaying this. Went through the gallery and som scenes don't have sound. I kind of think
they did when I played it last time. Am I remembering wrong or is some sort of bug?

Well... he made the song 14 years ago... and wasn't that popular. As much odd it is, I believe he would be happy. After all, at least I would be curious as to how a love chill song would be on a porn game. This time of song could barely fit on any actual sex scene, so it automaticly implies that the game has at least a bit of story, specially if so many people came from it.

And it's actually true, people don't love the game only for the sex, but for the whole package.

This one continues to be my favorite one though, it fits so well on that scene:

(I played the game online), but she was missing. I can only imagine that I somehow missed a step with the wedding. If not, then it beats me.

Uhm, yes you can have her. I'm guessing you did not know, but there is an official walkthrough made by the dev themselves and it is made for the full harem (canon) route. I think it was posted here and is linked in the OP. That one should undoubtedly work. It did for me at least.

Edit: If you follow good save practice and made lots of saves you could check at which point she was greyed out in the LI overview, indicating approximately where you made the mistake to check back with the official walkthrough.

Never seen this happen but may have some ideas.
Could you try deleting and extracting the archive again? Assuming you still have it of course.
Another reason could be access issues. Have you run renpy games from that desktop location before? Even if, trying from another location might be worth a shot.
Could it be an antivirus program blocking the exe since it originates from another computer?
Probably try the second and third thing first if you don't have the archive anymore to hopefully save yourself from redownloading it, that would the last resort.

I mean, the file IS missing now that I look at it some I'm just going to redownload the archive. It's definitely not 2 or 3

The file actually having gone missing is often a symptom of an antivirus acting up and just not telling you. Keep the archive around this time, since in that case it may happen again.

Well is the exe there or not?
If not delete the game an reinstall it.
Also check if your anti virus has deleted it.
What OS do you even have?
If it calls that exe from that path it's probs something old.
I checked on my install and that exe is there.

No PhD needed...

C'mon guys, don't be like that. Anyway what Uthuriel said can be one of the reasons, sometimes Ren'Py can have issues if you use too many sub-folders. The other reason is as Magnus said, if you don't have the exe at all, then probably was the antivirus

The file was completly clean, so if you're having issues with it then update the windows to refresh the Windows Defender database. Sometimes the antivirus goes full Cardi B and removes stuff that shouldn't.

i love this game sooooo much. At some point in the game i gave less attention to sex scenes and focused more on the story, it literally gave me an adventure unlike any other games i played. I love everything about it especially the characters, and most especially, no need to mention, President Stabby Mike. I'm really glad i found this game, think i need that memory eraser spray, i want to forget about this game so i can experience it as a lucky masterpiece i found with surprise and anticipation of what is going to happen next in the story.

And that's all for my... revisit to Once in a Lifetime.
While I do not remember clearly from the past, it seems like I indeed played through the entire game in the past, but whether it was in it's current state I do not know. Perhaps I will remember it from now on.

Yeah that part was epic and I was super hyped during the final confrontation, loved that moment it was great!
OIAL is definitely one of the best games I've ever played, Cari really did a great job, despite it being his first work.
