Just started playing, I hope that at some point the MC starts to act more "grown up". The careless, lazy, airheaded MC is a bit annoying.

He does tend to get his act together as the story progresses, even if his personality remains recognizably the same. He tends to grow on you, though. Also, the humor makes it worth it, for me at least. That also ramps up further down the line, while also featuring some darker and more intense moments.
In the end YMMV, of course. But I'd advise you to give it a chance.
