When you are going to work with real actors, you need to have a start capital. Not only do you need to pay the actors, but also the gear you need to use like camera, certain clothing, make up, etc. You can't expect the actors to bring everything themselves. You also need to find spaces to shoot, and that can also be expensive. Also what kind of scene's do you want to create? Is it just at someone home or also plubic places or even a school set-up.

You need to have a start capital to pull off a project like this. The thing about 3D developers is, they only need to have a computer. You can still work with 'free' assets. You don't have to worry about any actors, locations or what so ever.

And actors also have their own moral and principles , which means you need to respect the choices and opinions from the actors aswell. If they don't wanna have any penetration sex, than you need to accept it and come up with a plan, to make it look like they have "real" sex.

Movies companies have educated people to solve this kind of stuff and create their own technique's to look like it's real. You need to have a start captical of a few thousands of dollars to make it barely succesful. 3D models not, you can start from 0 dollar, aslong you have a computer to develope it. It's so much easier accessible.

The whole reason why they have Onlyfans, low effort > maximum income. They are not going to bother "learning" coding, even in Ren'Py that is very easy to learn. That destroys the whole purpose of Onlyfans, low effort as possible, for maximum income.

And besides, nowadays engine's are getting more realistic and easier to learn. Soon or later we even going to hit photorealistic 3D imaging. AI learns from humans, it can't function like a real biological life form, or a stand alone life form. Things that has been developed by AI, are still human idea's and/or visions. Humans needs to give "orders" to a AI before generating. A AI also learns from humans, but it's not like a AI is going to have a consciousness like we do.

Technology isn't good nor bad, it just depends how we use it and how we adapt to it. It starts with humans itself, not the otherway around. My concern is how we make technology our primary lifestyle. How many humans are becoming addicted to it, for example mobile phones and social media. We are losing idea's and visions already, with or without AI. Many people use their phone for everything, GPS, calculating, searching information etc. We have to think less and less, while your mobile phone does all the thinking for you. It does almost everything for you. But yet, people complain about AI, but another "danger" they fully ignore.

So no news, no posts, nothing at all, all the latest posts are about the other game. The latest Parteon post about this game stated that the game is NOT abandoned but on hold for more supporters (mid-December).

So VIGOR GAMES what happened? 2 months have passed from that post, and the latest release was 7 and a half months ago. Some of us contributed for this game to continue during all this time, you are only active in the Onlyfriends forum but we want updates here. And even after all this time and your complete lack of communication, you still have 64 patrons, probably for Onlyfriends but still, you had income for months without delivering anything regarding Once Upon.

Either deliver an update or admit that this project is over and move forward, milking supporters who hope for an Once Upon update is not acceptable.

If the dev posted more updates on Patreon and kept on going with the project this game would be big, he started slowly, showing nothing, so it's normal not to get attention at the beginning but some devs just give up before the game reachs the climax.

I think he needs a budget to pay the actors since he is hiring real girls and boys for the scenes and not stealing scenes and pics of real porn stars like other devs do. He has released the game Only Fans and its quite good. If he can earn some money with that he can finally pay the girls to continue with this game.

Do you think other porn-actresses have a degree in acting? They are still get paid though.

This project was very ambitious and I would've loves to see it succeed but it seems it has died because of financial issues.

If they are pros they signed a contract? received an advance payment? if the DEV dont pay them they can sue him? On the other hand if they are just friends there is no contract and payment, they just split the money amongst themselves. But there is no money and the result is GAME OVER. Please label this project as abandoned, almost a year has passed from the last release and the dev is not responding.

Unfortunately we paid for something that from the start was not organized as it should be, the dev has massive communication issues and obviously the budgeting was awful

You cant get this kind of content for free. I mean the developer could have done more frequent updates in the very first time to receive more attention to his project and mor subs(?) But ppl also refused to support this project with $$$. Dev moved to other games without real models, I think this is the best solution for him. Such a shame as DreamTown was and still is the best project out there of licensed real porn. Good job for the dev, hope you make it. Go for Steam releases ofyour WIP games so you may can continue this project as well.

I was a patron and did the revised English translations, so communicated with the devs, and even they admitted that they were doing a terrible job of keeping patrons and potential patrons interested. Despite several promises to communicate more and release more updates more rapidly, they just couldn't sustain any kind of routine updates and Patreon posts. I never found out what the actual problem was, and eventually gave up myself.

As i understood the game must earn money to pay all the actors and if u wanna see hot scenes with real girls and boys they want to gt paid of course. Thats the problem. Dev started another game called "OnlyFriends" with Renders to earn money to continue this one. But obviousley it didnt paid off so far...
