Paying this developer on a monthly basis does not make sense as there is no return on your investment. I work too hard for my money. Fuck that.

Although I loved OnlyHer, it's clear that the developer doesn’t care or is spending time on their second project, which has a tenth of the fans this one has.
Unfortunately, I have to stop supporting because it's not worth all this unanswered waiting.
Based on this post, there will be a 12-month gap between updates...
It's not so important whether we like what the developer says or not, but I definitely respect that he explained his actions and decisions. By the way, I think they are quite reasonable and satisfying not only for the developer, but also for fans of his work.
It seems to me that the most important thing is that game development will continue.

Well, glad he said something. But bummed Only Her updates will take longer. I have no interest in The Apex. I'm not a fan of 2D AVNs.
i understand and can agree with him but at the same time will the updates be big ? i don't mind having 2 updates per year of onlyher if they are big enough updates and 2 for the apex too, i'm kinda scared it's gonna be 3 month for 3 different scene/event and that's it.. and to be fair the dev should take into account what he thinks can be good for his story/game and not necessarily try to please everyone too, it's kinda obvious that there will always be some ppl who won't be happy for x outcome of a game/story hell even in more "mainstream" game ppl can get mad for x reason so imo the dev should do what he wants and think is right for the game first
so the update he will drop will end the intro rework? or will we get it the end of the intro in the next update?

Oof, well, nice to have any information at all, got zero interest in The Apex, looks like your average vanilla avn with the added detractor of mediocre 2d art (not trying to bash on it, I wouldn't even get that done, but just no way to be horny lookin at it 
), but I am sure the ~10 people that play that are happy and at least we know what to expect. And well, I get it, sometimes you need to do something different to not loose passion in the thing you do, so, it is what it is

Okay. I tried this one because it has good reviews. But what the HELL is this protagonist? Everything about that intro was shady as hell, and he was a complete, incompetent, brainless dunce. Honestly it pissed me off so much that he didn't get suspicious at all in time, or at least not suspicious enough to be careful and at least turn on the recording on his phone when talking to Chou! How the f-..... just no. Does he get better, or do I throw this in the trash? I hate these kind of plot developments with a fucking passion.

What kind of burnout are we talking about? The author of this game is giving us some kind of noodles. The game is very rarely updated. Very very rarely. All people have problems, don't consider yourself the busiest person on the planet. If you don't want to make a game, don't do it, don't find 1000 excuses for yourself, we're not interested in it. And if you have problems, then contact a specialist and explain to him that 2 updates per year causes you to burn out. Great joke.
