Damn it, had this on my watch list. seen is was abandon, so finally played it. so good, and right as it became very interesting. Hope for a resurrection.
This is my issue with games that are "oh no, we're going for the slow burn on this one." That's great and all, but I've seen too damn many of them get abandoned before they actually get to the purpose of the game, which makes all the buildup just a waste of time.

If you play a slow burn game, you should accept that you're there for the ride and not necessarily the destination. Enjoy the story, enjoy the character development, enjoy the relationship. Don't just focus on the sex. Even if the game isn't finished, you would've enjoyed what it was up to the point before it was cancelled.

Whether or not you can enjoy a game up to the point it is cancelled doesn't change the fact that you can feel disappointment with it being cancelled and not being finished.

I understand why it was cancelled and I'm not going to throw a fit what is beyond my control.

But if you are acting like people can't be disappointed that a game they were enjoying is likely never going to be finished then that is just wrong. The fact people feel disappointed just shows that the game was enjoyable. And it's perfectly reasonable to be upset over it.

As long as the person isn't acting in an unreasonable way, it's fine for them to let out their frustration.

100% agreed and I didn't say otherwise in my post. What I disagreed with is the conclusion you made about the time you spent enjoying the slow burn game being a waste of time. Most slow burn games are slow burn because they focus on the non-sex scenes. So if you enjoy a slow burn game, it's reasonable assumption that you enjoy the progress through the game and not necessarily just waiting for the sex scenes.

and after certain amount of time, some (or all?) of them back again with brand new game into the door :KEK:
Most come back with another in hopes of landing a $12k+ cash cow to do something they enjoy.

But when you're putting 60+ hours a week (if not more) into a game for far, far below minimum wage to hear entitled pirates bitching about something, it gets really hard to justify all that time.

In my opinion, the game has just begun to show itself. Personally, I accidentally stumbled upon the latest update and now I really regret that there will be no more updates.

having completed the current content of the game I think this one is good. However, the girl that gives title to the game is like the game's weakest point, as she is a bit for everyone, and looks more like a predator on the young girl and everyone around her. I'd rather prefer Laura to grow her relationship with her brother alone. Laura is beautifully designed.

Anyways, it's discontinued

Oopsy! Daisy is the only one you will get in this one, cause Oopsy!, Daisy is always interrupting the best nomments if they are not about her.
The tittle of the game is a meta masterpiece of Irony.

Oopsy Daisy is an enjoyable VN and I like slow burn stories because when sexy time happens, it has meaning.

If someone just wants fap material - this is the wrong place to be - just go to Pornhub etc. versus complaining because what you take for free is not to your liking.

Are there some on F95 who participate in discussions and offer even handed feedback that has value to the dev - Yes!

Are there some on F95 who are just here to take something others create for free and then complain that it is not developed fast enough, with enough high-quality renders/animations/music/ambient sounds/VA - Yes!

For those who say that their participation on F95 and taking Oopsy Daisy for free means that they get to cop an attitude because the dev is not grateful to them - I call B.S.

It's like a hobo who dumpster dives for food behind a restaurant complaining because they did not give him wine with his meal.

The hobo is, in fact, lucky to have gotten anything from the restaurant at all, let alone being thanked for taking a piss on their back steps.

Like it or not, complain or not, the restaurant called Oopsy Daisy is now closed for business.

It would be nice if you, as a patron, read something from the developer or get information about an update!
