This logic of yours shows a little fallacy. As I already said, bringing new types of content might upset some, but at the same time bring more audience (as it was the case for myself). And I'm pretty sure the numbers are much more in favor of the latter group.I mean, that's not the argument I'm making... Ofc the dev has the right to do whatever he wants. Never said otherwise. If he wants to add forced vore into the game, it's his call. I'm talking about how making things optional isnt a win/win solution for everyone. Unless the dev decides to increase his workload, people who aren't interested in X content will get less scenes than they would if all the scenes featured content they enjoyed. So people who stick to vanilla would be at loss when a game decides to include more fringe kinks. Thats basic logic, and really all I'm saying.
Think of this "extra workload" as an investment in order to attract a wider pool of players (and supporters, this goes without saying). Also I want to reiterate that the dev wanted to put such content from the very beginning. He might have put a sort of warning or even a list of their future plans regarding the content in the first place, but what is done is done.
Ok, now I got your point and I agree, kind of. This however can be easily addressed by removing the talking point that enables potentially unwanted content and replacing them with some new options and flags in the main menuMy whole argument is that "optional" is not the perfect solution some people seem to belive it is. It's still better than forced content, but it comes with repercussions. You kinda missed the point entirely
