The operative word being constructive, which I highlighted in my post, because I struggle to see how "should the dev ever make these contents again" has any critical merit to it.
Ok, I get how it could look like that reading only this single comment. I'll flesh it out a little more. I always think devs should make whatever game they want. I strongly disagree with fans that try to browbeat the devs to remove stuff they don't personally like that comes up a lot around here (ie. sharing, lesbian scenes with LIs, mention or flashbacks of an LIs past relationship that people think is NTR but isn't, etc, etc). Ultimately, there are hundreds of games here, so rather than try to get a dev to fundamentally change his game to match a fans particular preferences, it is better for them to find one of the many, many, games that meet their interests.
Personally, I am open to most things, these are just games after all, except for things that detract from the story. Overall, I like what Cryoxxx is doing with Oppai Odyssey. Many of the scenes are quite hot, and the story is interesting enough to keep the attention of the player, and inject some mystery in the game. There are also a good variety of characters to explore as a player. Plus the sandbox nature is completely non-grindy, which I appreciate. I also like the choices between domination and semi-submission with Nyx, as I rarely see that in games since it's more work for the dev to include both scenes, but it is a nice touch here, and widens the appeal for the player to try both scenes out.
As for this particular update, I enjoyed most of it, but I was completely confused as a player during the newscaster/alien scene. I am ambivalent about the alien sex itself, but as a player I kept trying to remember if I had seen any of these characters before in a prior update, and was pretty much unclear on how any of this related to the MC or main story. I think this scene would be much stronger if it tied in some way to the main story. Perhaps have the reporter talk to the MC previously, before the scene, so at least as a player we will have a reason to be interested in what happens.
As far as the Alex scenes, as a player I don't see the point. He betrayed us, and now he is stuck in mercenary jail. Is the purpose of these scenes to see how he gets more and more degraded as punishment for his betrayal of the MC? Perhaps some find enjoyment in seeing Alex drink toilet water and slowly lose his mind, but for me he was always a minor, annoying character, and and I am not particularly interested in seeing him pop up every update or so just to see what new difficulty he is facing. It's not a huge issue, but it takes the player out of the story whenever he shows up, and I was curious how many fans around here felt the same way, or if it was just me, and most other people like the Alex scenes. Reading these forums, periodically, I haven't really seen any fan talk about his or her enjoyment of the Alex scenes, but perhaps I missed it. I get your point that it is a way to illustrate what happens outside the MC's ship, so maybe I will try to look at it that way and find a way to appreciate these scenes more.
Whether I succeed of not, I try to be mostly positive in my comments, since creating a game is a lot of work and provides a lot of enjoyment for hundreds or thousands of fans, myself included. Plus, no dev deserves unhelpful criticism of his work barring extreme cases where there is a dramatic decrease in quality or the story betrays the player in some way (such as rapidly ending the game in the middle of the story because the dev gets tired of his game, for instance), but I do think that comments about what we like and don't like about an update or plot point is at least potentially helpful to the dev so that he knows what works and doesn't work as entertainment.
