Oppai Odyssey has reached the 500 patron goal! I'm blown away and so excited to be taking this next step for the project!
0.3.9 is out and has been played by a ton of you guys, and I'm glad that it's gotten such good reception. I can't wait for everyone to play it! That brings me to my next point!
0.3.9 Public Release: TBA
For the past few updates I have take the time between alpha release and public to polish OO. From making new UI, building the codex, and remastering older events, this time is where I can make sure OO is the product I want you all to enjoy!
This time I'm tackling something I've wanted to change for a long time. Xerxes.
Xerxes Rework
The crew's first mission came during OO's infancy, and I'll be the first to tell you that I was a real amatuer back then. I think I've grown in all story-telling aspects, and I'm ready to jump back in and tell this story right.
This is a bit more than just a remaster; I'm rewriting it from the ground up. The Xerxes rework will clean up some missteps I took back then and setup some things for 0.4 much better.
I'm aiming provide a more condensed and exciting experience this time around. Coupled with some stunning visuals, I'm hoping this new first mission will get players invested in the story.
So Cryo...When can we play it? Not months from now, right?!?!
0.3.9 Public Release will have the enhanced Xerxes mission added on to it, so not too long at all. The day I sent 0.3.9 off to my playtesters, I started working hard on the Xerxes rework, and now I'm more than halfway finished with it!
I've already wrote more here than I planned, so I'll end it here! As always, thanks for the support. I wouldn't be able to share this without you beautiful people.
