No, all the crewmate choices so far are unrelated to each other.
I remember really liking this game a while back, but dropping it when the MC and the witch started keeping secrets from the MCs childhood friend and laughing about it behind her back.

It gets addressed yes. So far not really resolved.
I don't remember them ever laughing about it just saying how shes to loyal to the federation, And honestly after the most recent update I see why they were worried about that though not telling her could have also influenced that a bit.
Not really, but depending on a choice you can miss a catboy.
I'm not really into the "that" content, but the more the merrier.
Was really glad when later the game does not shove it down your throat, but gives a choice in an interaction.
Nah, you see, this is complicated - if someone does kiss or fondle a trap, he is not a gay, but if he is skewering him, he is a gay. At least a friend said so, since I'm not really a PsyD in that area...
At present, Cryoxx added the Trap tag on itch, but not the Gay tag (yet?).

Played VN route once, got teacher, 4 dragonians, one catfolk(barmaid), Lym, doc C., Nyx, Noel, Sybil, Pip, Lily, Noel maids feast, An onboard, Vann onboard, Queen onboard, Yaz onboard, MC and ship on the run.. got one missing(locked) event with Lym and all images locked... Hope to get my hands on Lym sister, Sybil's friend(Captain of Bellona), and to get em onboard too... and hope Lili returns to crew,.. for doc C. hope to meet her and invite onboard later(preferable at convoy), and to get teacher onboard too, and for all female crewmates to be pregnant with MC children, coz about time(not story related time but overall time)...
Good game one of the most interesting and overwhelming, story deep, unique, good point of romancing not just lewds, as you could pick up traces from 3 franchises Star Wars, Star Trek and Mass Effect, but traces are just inspirations nothing more... And I hope for author to proceed with all of this till the end and not stopping until it... Good graphics, sound, music, animations top notch, feels like author made heartwarming approach to his creation... And waiting for future massive updates...

Hey again everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. A new exciting year is in store for OO!
Seeing as this is my first post after the release of 0.4.2, I'd like to thank you for all the support I've received recently. I hope you all enjoyed the next part of the story. I have been hard at work on 0.4.3 (with a slightly lighter work schedule to enjoy the holidays).
The start of the update will feature a few sequential events regarding that, then sandbox players will be returned to the sandbox to enjoy more content as the crew makes their way to the next mission.
For VN players, I have been thinking about how I'd like to handle future content going forward. I have determined that the structure of the event-based sandbox mode should take precedence. The plan for now is to patchwork the events together, and once development catches up with to fill in the holes by reaching the next mission, I will reorganize the events to better work with VN mode. The pacing and timeline of future VN events may not feel particularly cohesive when playing update to update. I wish this could be avoided, but with the periodic release schedule that OO follows, it is unavoidable. It's not something you as a player need to worry about, but you could expect to see some time-skips or oddities to the passing of time while playing. (I am probably overthinking it all anyway! lol)
What's next? I have a ton of events lined up and outlined, so now it's just about putting them into action. Writing, rendering, and all the things that come with it!
I have some fun and hot things cooking. Maybe some tanned goddess cuisine? Some of the little purple-haired cutie for dessert? Sounds delicious to me.

The writing in the current update is the cap expressing the opinion of Vann being his bro and how much he likes him and is glad to have him around. It's really forced because if you don't feel that, it's playing a character you then develop distance from.i'm not asking you to be bros with Vann, and it's never been stated that Cap and Vann are bros. The whole introduction is tailor-made to show off who Vann is, not to force a bro on you. You'll eventually get to meet him for real and dive deeper into his backstory and to help him tackle his feelings for Noel. I've got a lot planned so it hurts just a bit that you are writing him off after 5 mins of conversation with him

I'm surprised to read that about not asking you to be bros... True it isn't asking, it's placed there with no option to disagree I guess. Anyway, I'm not currently seeing anything in the writing that hints at anything else there so maybe if you had a different intention with Vann you could hint at it?
Personally I'm getting really uncomfortable vibes about the whole thing. Really would not enjoy ending up stuck in a confined space with my partners ex. That just isn't my sort of adventure, I guess some wont and don't mind that though. I'd find that deeply unpleasant, and do here too...
