Another month means another Oppai Odyssey devlog. My month was incredibly stressful, and I was also without my work computer and internet for more than a week. Still, I was able to get some meaningful work done, and as of the 1st, I have been able to get back to the grind.
- 90 new renders
- 3 new events written
- 1 new event rewritten
A few renders in this batch were giving me trouble, but nothing a bit of post work couldn't fix. A few of those renders were from the climax of the update, which plays out dramatically differently depending what you decided to do with Nyx on the operating table. The rest of the renders are for filling in the middle as I decided to start with the climax and work backwards this update cycle. As for the new event that I rewrote, one of Lym's just wasn't working for me, so i scrapped it and began again. This time I was satisfied with it.
What's next? I am currently in the middle of a complex set of renders with a lot of intricate poses. but after those, the remaining renders are simple conversational renders in existing environments that shouldn't take much time. I don't know what other curveballs life could throw at me, so I won't make any promises, but a release date doesn't seem too far out. I'll keep you posted.
