While I agree that description does have worrying things in it to me as well from a story standpoint. I'd be hesitant to just write off a game without playing it myself based off a couple people complaining about it, especially when your on a pirating website and it doesn't cost anything beyond bandwidth. If you were actually paying for it then I can understand holding off on purchasing it until you research it more.
The best judge for if you will enjoy some form of entertainment is at the end of the day you and only you. You don't have to play through the entire game, you can dip out at any moment things go a way your just not into.

I appreciate the advice bro but what it comes down to is my time is precious. I'm not gonna waste it on things that I know I will not enjoy.
The fact I read this game has a toggle because some of the characters backgrounds is very telling. Dev knows a lot of people won't like it.
I'm not gonna throw shade at people that like the game I'm just gonna move on to other shit I hopefully will enjoy.
