It does indeed, I agree. It's just, I'm always sad when we can't win over the LIs without the help of pheromones, mind control (however mild) and magic cum....
But, I say it again, I agree it's completely relevant to MC's powers. I just don't like it, I like natural feelings of attraction and it feels like cheating.
How to be sure the girl would be genuinely attracted without those powers ?
Is Moonsong getting infatuated with us ? Seems like it, but is it because MC is a good guy, attractive to her, or is it only/partly the powers so it's meaningless ?
Had to replay it to be sure but yeah, I think it's exponential the more his powers grows and the more he sleeps around. Those he sleeps with getting the brunt of it and the others (like Ruth) getting the residual pheromones.

The girls immediately around MC cant be the main culprit storywise for one reason, MC's male best friend's power is directly tied to the Meta. Anyone who spends time around him would eventually be caught out. The main atagonist has to be working from outside MC's immediate perview. With 2 exceptions, the first being his buddy is part of the plot against him, or having access to the Meta, he recognizes all the good that will happen to MC and pulls a Dr. Strange in Infinity War, with the if i talk about it it wont happen or something worse will. Honestly aside from a plot device, his buddy is completely useless now that i think of it.

1. I understand what you're talking about, and I have a few possible answers: 1. This game is not that deep in terms of plot and relationship development. It's fun, it's memetic, it's a great parody on superhero topic, but the game is more about sex and kinks than full-fledged relationships - that's how I see Origin Story.
2. As for Ruth, it seems that it was pointed out that the spells do not work on her because she has a high resistance threshold.
3. What does pheromone do anyway? Does it just make girls aroused and cause sexual appetite, or does it create deeper emotional feelings? Because for me, these two concepts have always been different.

No. It doesn't. Evelyn has a power to see and feel what others do. She's not the one doing them. But there's one thing I personally didn't like was her getting touched by that one dude, so she can experience the orgasmic high that he can give. It wasn't a sexual touch, I just would've preferred if it was an option.

1. Given the gravitas given to Amber's situation, Ruth backstory, that Kyle kid in the parc, etc... ; I don't see the game that way. There's is some fun made to the superhero genre, great humor and even a Meta commentary. But there is plenty of seriousness in it.
2. Where was it pointed ? Genuine question, I don't remember this part...
3. It creates the opportunity and the addiction. The girl wouldn't even be interested without it, or would never want to go beyond a one-night stand. And then those becomes the base of the deeper feelings.
So artificial attraction, I don't like it

Aside from the obvious "Parker is a full blown LI" so it would be hard for her to be an antagonist (or at least an irredeemable one), she's shady and more important : never present enough, so her development as a LI is pretty stunted for now (same for Riley who has no romantic/lustful feelings for MC whatsoever).
Perhaps we're given that peek of her shadiness to give us some doubt on her agenda....
But for me, Parker is no villain nor serious antagonist. At worst, she's an helicopter step-aunt, and she's wrong to be so secretive. She'll have to work some more if she want to be fully redeemed, though.
My biggest issue with the last update is that BS of MC having addictive cum and "pheromones" that attract and make him handsomier....er...handsomer...handso - fuck it, prettier to the ladies.

On the topic of MC's attractive/addictive powers, I'm sure it'll come up at some point and MC might have some internal turmoil where he wonders if the LIs like him for who he is or just his powers.
The impression I got is more like it's just a general attraction and lowering of sexual inhibitions. It probably makes it easier for him to sexually attract people. But I very much doubt it'll cause any sort of long-term romantic or love feelings.
So most likely he'll conclude it's really not that different than being inherently handsome or good in bed, but on a supernatural level. It can help with that initial attraction and getting people in bed for casual sex, but not have much affect on deeper relationships (outside of perhaps the sex itself).

I think the big question that is to be imposed is, does the LIs (aside from Evelyn and Amber who liked him before he even manifested), truly like MC for who he is?
Or are they just interested in him because of his powers?
If our MC somehow gets influenced by a supervillain who neutralizes his powers temporarily, would the LIs' interest in MC drop?
It was the similar scenario with The Last Wish event with Yennefer in The Witcher 3.
Yen didn't feel any different even after Djinn's spell was broken cause she had always loved Geralt regardless of Geralt's last Wish with the Djinn in the books.
I think it might be quite interesting to explore something like that.
Also, I'd say it's gonna be a good character development to get into MC's dilemma thinking "do these LIs truly love me? Or do they only like me due to my powers?"
