Yep, some of us have suspected Parker since episode 1. She may not be the 'main evil', but there have been too many red flags with her overall.

Now all of these could be red herrings and deliberate misdirection, or they could be the "hiding in plain sight" scenario too.

Do you mean at the beginning of chapter 5? It just sets each of them as a love interest, yes or no. You can pick both of them with no ill effects at least for now (and the game generally seems set up to cater to a harem approach), but the MC will have some explaining to do at some point.

Given Evelyn's proclivities it probably won't be a problem, no, but Amber and the MC will still have to tell Evelyn at some point, as acknowledged at the beginning of this chapter.

If I remember correctly, it's not so much to convince her but more to surprise her, since Amber will no longer be forced to go to Japan.

Damn, I really hope the developer doesn't make Parker some kind of charming villainous succubus with powers similar to the MC's and his magical sperm, thanks to which she seduced the main character's father and is now trying to grow him into a tool to achieve her goals (or maybe she actually doesn't have any powers and wants to use him to create a world in which no one will have them), that would probably be the most tasteless and banal development of events.

true but during the date thats what she stated so, and honestly its understandable. Like rl you cant expect everyone to like the same things, or be okay with the same things. In Moonsongs case, shes fine with the mc sleeping around because they arent in a serious relationship, in Evelyn's case, she enjoys it and i also think she gets off on the mc getting stronger with each new girl. Which in both their cases is just their personalities.

Absolutely but I fear that given the nature of this game Moonsong will inevitably end up capitulating as will happen to Ruth, given a couple of upgrades and MC will be the only man she can let herself go. Unfortunately this is the downside of harem games

Moonsong is running experiments on MC and a host of girls, including her teammates and their captives. MC is a lab experiment, just like her wolf she keeps bossing around. Just like girls who like to abuse their favorite toy, MC is a boy toy she uses and abuses to run her experiments both for her personal pleasure and her mission in the superhero team - this is a dream come true—she literally shags her job; it provides her everything she needs.

Rampant literal prostitution -the girl in the bathroom literally selling her body- and made up prostitution - the orgasm merchant also in the bathroms and in the classrooms and everywhere else are constant day to day realities, so MC being overly promiscuous when everybody else is makes perfect sense.

In other circumstances I would be inclined to agree with you, but we have external factors such as the LI list Moonsong is part of and a harem to build.

You guys are entitled to your opinions and no opinion is wrong. But I disagree with you. I always like when I see other AVNs mentioned in a game. I liked the convo between MC and Ruth when they were mentioned. The games mentioned are simply games/devs he has respect for and he wanted to pay homage to them.

There is nothing wrong with paying respect/homage to other games and other games.
Having said that, for me at least it just came off as a bit jarring cause there were a lot of name dropping (I think at least 7? 8 other AVNs get named dropped here iirc?) with the frequency.

An example I'll cite is what happened between PhillyGames (dev for City of Broken Dreamers) & HopesGaming (dev for The DeLuca Family).
Both devs like each others' games and have interacted with one another over the years.
So what did they do?

PhillyGames created a very minor character named "Hope" which is an AI in Broken Dreamers with limited dialogue.
To respond in kind, HopesGaming also created a very minor character called "Philly" who is a Doctor with the DeLucas.

I asked HopesGaming about it & his reply was "We wanted our references to be subtle & ambiguous, and didn't wish for these references to be distracting."
The subtlety of it doesn't take players' attention away from the game, while those aware of both of these games' devs get that reference.

I quite liked what they both did there. And I do think the whole Speedster maid being cameo from from another game from Office Perks is kinda cool (even though I never played Office Perks, and only heard about it from someone mentioning it in this thread).
For the rest though? Not so much.

As you said, there's no wrong opinions, and honestly? When I first mentioned the whole "too much references" point in my original post about the update, I expected myself to be in minority in that opinion.
So different strokes for different folks.
