Yep. Jack and Ruth banter is quite funny to see.
That being said i need to check if i played V0.7. I have too many games on my backlog. o_O

When Ruth says "You don't get it" your shirt re-appears, and vanishes again.

Lucia speaks Spanish to herself, not sure if that was deliberate or not, "Que Carajo" or if you got the wrong name.

Hey all. It’s ya boy, JD, here with a monthly ramble.

So, as you know I’ve been hard at work on Chapter 8 so here’s a quick run down of everything that has been going on with that.

Firstly, I finished posing the damn thing a week or two ago, so here’s your final render count for that chapter... 1737.

I’ve spent the past few weeks on a mad post-working rampage. It’s the first big post-working session since I bought the graphics tablet and let me tell you, it’s helping a huge deal. I’m two thirds of the way through all the post-work already and I haven’t even got any wrist pain this time! Only brain pain from how mind numbingly boring and repetitive it is.

So, I put a pause on that to recover and took some time out to do some other things to prepare Chapter 8 as a Season 1 Finale and push towards that Steam release. As mentioned in the last update, I was going to be doing some minor rewriting. I have now done all this (I think), so the next time you play, you’re going to hear a lot of talk about the New Riverford Academy, “college”, Dean Brown, Professor Ross etc. I’ve even updated the latter two profiles to reflect their new job roles.

Another thing I’ve figured out and implemented, as I said last time, with some help from TakoYuh, dev of Westview Academy, is the system to export your Season 1 save, and import them into Season 2… and it seems to work!

However, one thing that Tako has warned me of is that a requirement for Steam is the ability to play a game without a reliance on having a save from a different game. So, I have also made a “Storybuilder” that can also be used at the start of Season 2 to help build your save if you don’t have a save to import, or if you’re an absolute monster and want to start from Season 2 for some insane reason.

The Storybuilder, naturally, is where Fraser comes in and “throws all subtlety out of the window with this fourth wall shit”. He’ll have a little intro and offer players two different options.

Option 1 is a quick save builder which is a no frills, series of basic bitch black screen menus that cover all the main decisions and love interests in Season 1 and then he’ll work some magic with the lesser variables and boom, create a save for you to start with. This option is more for the players who played Season 1, don’t have an exported save file and want to jump straight into the next chapter as quick as they can.

Option 2 is very fun. It serves as a full recap of the events of season 1, complete with 200 renders and a full narration by Fraser himself. Of course it being Fraser, it will be chock full of meta commentary and drenched in jealousy over how ridiculous and awesome MC’s life suddenly became. Along the way, he will ask you all the relevant questions about your kinks and Season 1’s decisions and adapt his recap accordingly. Of course, he will berate you for turning down any LI.

The full storybuilder takes a good 20-30 mins to complete and honestly might be worth a play even if you have a save to import, just so you can see recap yourself and see Fraser’s commentary on things.

Now, that I’ve done that, it’s time to return and complete the last third of the post-working… and then it'll be time to get all audio down, the lewd writing, fill up the special render galleries, all that kind of stuff.

The bad news is that I’m so busy wrapping up Chapter 8/Season 1, that I haven’t started to pose Chapter 9 yet… but that will come soon.

In other news, I will be taking part in another big itch.io bundle in a few weeks, much like the Valentine’s Day one. So, if you want to build up your naughty games library, look out for an announcement from me when it goes live. Naturally, there will be a reward tier where bonus renders are unlocked, and I have already made my contributions (thirteen of them to be exact)… and some of them are… chef’s kiss.

Before I finish, I will quickly address the image that I have attached with this update. Firstly, if you missed the last update, or the special of Lucia and her gals that I released last weekend, then yes… Lucia has had a makeover.

Where Chapter 6 had some differences depending on which path you have decided to take Lucia down, they were relatively minor. It was just a spicier photo shoot for manipulation and the same for Chapter 7, with all the extra interactions with Sapphire. Chapter 8 will be the first time we get separate content depending on which path you’re on, not just alternate versions of the same scene, or extra content within that scene. As I alluded to last time, the manipulation path requires you to be fucking Emerald… otherwise, no Lucia content for you next chapter. The normal path will have both stuff that requires Emerald as an LI, and stuff you’ll see even if she’s not.

Anyways, I figured I’d treat you to a preview of each path’s content. Manipulation this time… normal path next update.

On that note, who do we want to bet will be the 'certain character' that gets a makeover later on, that was originally planned to introduce the hairstylist? My money is on Amber getting a hair makeover from the same hairstylist once she's no longer invisible. She did her best, but there's only so well you can style your hair by yourself when you can't see it, and jacq intentionally tried to find a "messy" hairstyle for her to show this.

Anyway wonder for how long Amber wants to hide hr relationship with Jack from Evelyn. And speaking of her i quite liked how the game didn't ignored her strange behaviour around her friend turned lover (if you are into shit so i will be into it too? :oops:).

Instead Jack goes to Ruth to ask for advice on the matter, to which the steal woman surmise Evelyn's kinks may have been warped by years using her powers, plus she may be doing it also out of devotion to Jack. So he should not be a asshole and force his friend into scat kink if she isn't into it.

Speaking of Ruth she again steals she show. Helping to save Cat and Marina from those would be rapists and also covering for Jack's lack of control using Emerald's power against the rapist, godd riddance to the farm to those two. :devilish:

Such a shame she has trouble having to always control her powers she won't seriously injure someone. I really doubt the power to lube your own ass (from Meredith) will help Jack, if she ever wants to do some pegging. :ROFLMAO:

By the way Shapire, Lucia and Jack sex scene was amazing.

And that cliffhanger by the end. How the hell is Jack relieving his late mother memories? :unsure:

If I remember correctly, she mentions that she wants to wait until she can control her power better so as not to get Evelyn's hopes up prematurely. Her visit to the Sisterhood is planned for Saturday, which should be Episode 9. So perhaps if that goes well, it might not be too much longer.

If I'm not mistaken, Steel's fight is on friday, so that should be next update. If you people had to bet, would you bet for her?
Because my money is on Chokehold. I like Steel and everything, and frankly Chokehold seems to be a bit of a dick, but yeah... I don't see that going well for Ruth.

I can totally see Ruth losing that fight. Not that I want her to, but it could be interesting, might humble her too some.
