don't know if someone else posted about it or not, but i'm confused about what is wrong here, help me out folks

That is incorrect because that variable is a String and the options there are in this case yes or no in all the (correct) conditions I saw of that variable.In the box, type either "True" or "False". "Yes" and "No" are not recognized.
A Boolean variable it would be true/false and if the dev made all those variables that are yes/no as a Boolean with true/false made much more sense but whatever. A string variable can contain a group of characters/word(s) that is why if there is only 2 options/results it was much easier and made more sense to code a Boolean variable true/false. Not all devs are expert coders so it is normal this issues happen hehe, they usually are better at writing and visuals.
So that (condition set as a Boolean variable result as true instead of a string with result yes) is just a bug sparrow that probably has a fix already but wasn't posted/leaked here. But like me you are using URM so just click select on that path detected like I did (if you want that path as true and not false like it is), but isn't a big issue anyway because those path detected just changes a few dialogue and I think it happens twice in the same scene in chapter 8.
