I still believe that the mother of MC (with Parker's help) created the Superflu(retrovirus) to guarantee that MC would be born! I think this is what gives Parker the knowledge to create the vaccine. This explains why Tigerboy claims that MC did this to him! But what do I know? o_O:geek::eek:
As to why his abilities morph, must be due to him being the first Meta and being able to adapt them to suit his needs. We might find he can change them multiple times!
Can't wait to find out in the next exciting update!

This is as valid as anything, although your wording implies intent from the two, and I think it's more likely just an accident on their part (either rushing 'cause they thought time was more important that being careful, or someone other than Parker and Mom was involved and did intentionally introduce the metagene) while trying to create some kind of new invitro drug that would work for her after other stuff didn't ... although it could also have been some kind of viagra-type pill if that was the real problem, not that the delivery method really matters in this case.

Yeah, she directly says that she's had a crush on MC for about two years and while at first the idea of "stealing" him from Ev was part of the motivation, over time it changed to just wanting to be with him.

Obviously, you learn all of this only after giving her a chance. But at least for me, the payoff is totally worth it.

Isn't it pretty much implied, during the dream sequence, that she would do anything to get pregnant? But I do see your point, I think it was accidental too. It was only supposed to work for the MC & I doubt they had any idea it would cause superpowers!
