Most people with powers seem to turn their powers on and off, and or being either immune or resistant to any side effects or not having any. Examples being Ruth has durability and healing to offset any damage to her body caused by using her super strength, and Coldsnap doesn't seem to be effected by her own cold.
So it's strange that Amber can't control her power, but more to the point of this post, isn't immune to her own power. She has stated that she can't see her own body because she's invisible. I'm wondering if her inability to see herself is an extension of inability to turn off and on her power. When she's able to control it at will, will she then be able to see herself or will she remain unable to do so? And if not, will MC be able to see himself after adapting the power for himself like how Ruths powers changed? Or will it require evolving the power like what was done to Ev's power? And if so, could we then take that as a sign that MC will cause evolution in his girls powers too?
