What are you gonna go as? Or does your MC not wanna get dressed up?

Since they give you the option to be a sorcerer, I wonder if there'll be a little callback to the prologue if you insist that you can use magic xD

Happy Halloween! In August, haha. Today's build adds Part 1 of the Trick or Treat DLC Moment in Step 1. However, next month won't be Part 2 of this Moment. In September there's gonna be more Step 2 prologue scenes added. The full version of the Halloween event will come out in October proper.
Right now, you can only go trick or treating at the MC's house and Tamarack's house. If you go to Qiu's house the moment will end.

Also, Shawna has implemented a new feature of the Renpy engine. You can use it like so-
"On the Save screen, the Upload Sync button at the top of the screen will upload your most recent saves to the Ren'Py Sync Server. There is a size limit of 20MB, so if you've filled all your save slots, only the most recent ones will be uploaded, up to the file size limit. After syncing, you will get a code made up of letters and numbers in a format like A1B2C-3D4F5 (it is not case-sensitive, and letters and numbers can be mixed in any order). Save this code somewhere! You will only be able to sync your files using this code for up to 1 hour after upload. After you receive the code, open the Load screen on the device you want to download the synced save files to and hit Download Sync at the top of the screen. Enter the code you received earlier and hit Enter. If the code is correct, your save files should be downloaded onto your new device. You may need to close and re-open the game if you don't immediately see your save files."

After playing through it, happy to say it was mentioned! If you decide to dress up as a witch/sorcerer at least.

Also, I guess it wouldn't be fair to expect so much from a single step, but it would've been funny if they threw in a few costume items into the 'special' section like pointy hats/sheets with holes/fake stitches/a crown/etc so that your portrait could potentially look somewhat like the costume you stated.

Completely agree, I also wish there were more options to spend time with the MCs mom they kind of push her to the side in a lot of these moments sadly.
