To be fair the twist (if it indeed happens) is easier to spot when the players have literally years to scrutinize and ponder every tiny bit of dialogue between the updates.
What got me thinking is that Eva opened up the cameo spots again for a spot in the upcoming epilogue. Chances that the mystery boyfriend will be whoever wins that spot and that Lena will meet them during her first shift at the club?

Hmm i guess it's possible, but i think the cameo might be for a smaller role, e.g. some completely random customer who shows up during Lena's bar shift. I mean, someone who is there so the mysterious boyfriend isn't the only person Lena gets to interact with.

I'd say it's a collective victory and we dodged a huge bullet. From my understanding, Eva did intend to cut corners in writing and make Lena automatically turn into a bitch on the cucking path (she kind of still is in the no-sex route). But after I reported it initially (after the prologue), this Ch 11 scene was soon written to address it. It's still not ideal in the no-sex route (because Lena might not have any sex either, so she denies herself sex just as much), but overall the role-playing is handled with much better care, especially with an after-play consolatory deepthroating.

And the cherry on top is, you don't know to what extent Lena was telling the truth in her story or if she altered some details to intentionally make it more kinky (or conversely downplayed it if Ian isn't into it as much) or she did those things with someone else. So, it could just be her fantasy that never happened in reality or she was in fact even wilder in her younger days. We can never know for certain because Lena never references this story in her POV.
Thanks for bringing it up. You can tell her it was really well handled and that those of us who care about that route were impressed & appreciative. I was definitely convinced it'd be another GGGB repeat, which was my least favorite portion of that game. I haven't played the "no sex" for Ian route yet since it's not my thing. Maybe at the end of development for the Steam "Incel" achievement. But I'm glad she left it in, specifically for Mommisboii :KEK: and others who want the path (though I never doubted she wouldn't). It would have been shitty to add/improve a more plausible path just to deny another pre-existing one certain fans had been following.

As you mentioned, I could see it being a weird situation in a scenario where a sexless Lena denies a sexless Ian, then suddenly turns into dom superbitch. It could be an easy text or script fix. But tbf, it's also a relatively small use-case. I don't imagine the "waiting until marriage" route to be too popular for anyone, considering it turns into a sexless game when neither MC is getting fucked.

I dont agree with this there are many poeple that love innocent holly corruption and would like to
make little holly into a gillian with ivys help :devilish: :devilish:

and this scenes with mark, robert ,bouncer and lena and ivy will take her probably on partys with drugs in the future will happen ANYWAY eva will already draw and write this scenes

so it should not be this hard for eva to figure out to make it work because its not much work because this SCENES WILL EXIST ANYWAY

and you can engourage holly as slutty/mean lena and ivy so eva should firgue something out

so i really dont understand the no cheating police in a CORRUPTION GAME on cheracters like cindy, alison and holly because they all will have corruption ROUTES ANYWAY
My educated guess: If you want the possibility of a cheating Holly in the future, then perhaps corrupt her before you make Ian date her. In this chapter she can hit on Ian even if they're not together. And at the same time, she can fuck Mark and even be open to checking Robert out (which is not an oversight or a bug). So you'll have your dream of Ian falling for Holly who is more adventurous and who is wrapped under Ivy's thumb so she'd be more likely to listen to her if she happens to tell her to keep fucking other guys even while dating Ian (or ask for an open relationship).

Just going to point out that tying the scenes together with writing requires way more effort than simply drawing the art and writing it in the context of a pre-planned linear path (with no other complications). You can isolate those paths via a simple use of variable filters.

What you're proposing though, is writing a completely different path that accounts these new possibilities. That way all Holly's interactions with Ian and Lena would need another set of alternative dialogues because the current ones didn't work.

To provide a simple example: there is currently a path where Lena could get together with Louise late in the game (after Ivy blows Jeremy). On technical level, it simply enables Louise route for Lena, even if it's late so it functions the same as the early Louise path. BUT. In this branch, Lena doesn't have access to a "dominant" route. So unless Eva implements a scene where Lena can boss Louise around and become her mistress, then the secondary path will always feel tacked on and weaker than the main path, despite having access to the same scenes (after Chapter 9). And this path was actually intended, and is not a bug. But Eva still struggles remembering about its existence (or about the differences with the main path).

Now, imagine if you're Eva Kiss and the players tell you about these inconsistencies, expecting a properly believable cheating path from you when you didn't actually plan for one at all at this point. What would you do? Sacrifice your intended vision just to let the players see more content? But then you'd have to write alternative dialogues for every scene to make the narrative more cohesive. Or would you simply lock this possibility and follow up on your initial plan, to keep your narrative as focused and easy to write as possible? The choice you make would either define you as a good dev or a lazy dev.

I'm not stating that cheating shouldn't be possible (I already provided an example for such possibility), but it's only up to Eva how to implement it. If she wants to make the current Ian x Holly's route separate from single Holly exploring different guys (at least for now), then you can't really shoehorn that option into the game if you care about your own narrative quality. If that option was INTENDED, then yeah, I'd be all for rewriting the plot holes to account for the new possibility even if character-wise it makes no sense yet (Ian hasn't gotten a chance to fuck up his relationship with Holly). Holly was open to explore Mark or experiment with Ivy in the first place because she thought Ian wasn't interested in her. The only force powerful enough to make her reconsider her commitment to Ian is actually Lena. So who knows, maybe Lena will be able to steal Holly away from Ian in the future.

No, given that Gillian was very recently decided to be added by Eva, and therefore never intended to play an active role originally, I don't think her boyfriend is anyone we know.

"Bro. She must be cheating on him with Steve. He's messed around with Lisa and get this... she says he's got a girlfriend. Case proven, motherfucker!"

Real life, in a group of 13 friends/aquaintances or any logical screenplay:
'Dude. Wtf are you talking about? You realize the world consists of more than just our 13 person friend-group?'
"Yeah. Uh.. Sorry Bro. Just high."

ORS logic or average sitcom doing fan-service:
'Checks out, bro. Tha's craazy!!'
"I kno rite?!?"

It was never established how small of a town this is actually, but if I have to guess, it's bigger than most of the towns where I live. They got a huge club, a huge mall, fine dining restaurants and luxury hotels and so on. Never have I encountered such a coincidence rich and deluded situations where I live and the biggest town we got is less than 500K.

True. But (+ I've made the same point before) in a town small enough to have so many crazy coincidences in a 6 month span, every single one of these characters would have met each other already, unlike in ORS where several friend-groups are meeting for the first time in this timeline. (Plus, as MF points out, that's a lot of businesses to support in a small town, even if they're struggling rn).

It really chalks up to suspension of disbelief, which some players/viewers/readers find easier to swallow than others. Viewers with a strong suspension of disbelief: "Gillian/Mike FUCK YEA!!" or "Dude. What if Rachel dated Chandler next?!? That would be crazy!!"

INB4: 'But why?' "Cuz red string". 'Ok. Cool. Checks out, man. Can't argue with that storytelling logic. :KEK:.'

For me, Baluart reminds me of any typical capital city of a spanish province, like Valencia. Medium in population , with a university atmosphere, relatively well connected. Not as big as Madrid or Barcelona, but big enough to have significant wealth and industry, as well as a well-known local oligarchy.

Being EK spanish I suppose that it will have been based on this type of cities.

Realistically, Holly can be in a relationship, having sex and still be concerned that she's not enough for Ian, given that he's suggested to be more experienced than her, and depending on the player choices, literally hanging out with 3-4 models weekly. I personally just find it a bit of a stretch that she supposedly comfortable in that situation, and I think her dialogue as well reflects a continued doubt of her self-worth that Ivy and Slut Lena could prey upon. As one optional path for her character. I like to play the pure route too.
Interesting. "My boyfriend is so good and he's hanging out with different hot girls all the time that I feel inferior to. What should I do? Maybe dress in a different way? Try something new in bed? Try watching some porn to get new ideas to spice it up? Have more romantic dates to make him see that I'll never hurt him? No, cheating sounds like the best option. Once I'm slutty and experienced enough, no way he'll look at other girls!"

I'm not really an expert in psychology, and while technically there have been cases like these, in order for that to be possible, Holly's insecurity would need to be way stronger than her love for Ian. Because cheating on your boyfriend, who is still struggling after his last heartbreak, seems like a sure way to end that relationship in the dumbest way possible. Even if she may feel insecure intimately, I believe she doesn't think that cheating is something a loving girlfriend should do. And Holly may be gullible, but she's not stupid and can see several steps ahead. After all, she orchestrated the whole "Oh no, my room has only one bed so we'll have to sleep together" move. And on top of it, she's an avid reader. I imagine she read countless romance stories (good ones) and knows the most common relationship-ending factors like cheating, jealousy, lack of communication, etc.

If anything, if she's indeed this insecure, I think it would make her open to share Ian with other girls instead so he'd feel sexually satisfied with them and emotionally satisfied with her. You can already see this in the way she treats her relationship with Lena. When she learns about Louise or Ivy being side-hoes, she doesn't feel jealous (inferior to Ivy, sure) and is instead willing to share Lena with them and simply be happy that she's willing to spend time with her at all.

You forgot the punchline:

"Hey bros, throw me a beer, i just broke up with my girl. Turns out she was cheating on me with Steve, that cheap slut."

"Lena will be able to sport 3 different bikinis in the next updates. The designs are done, but I still haven't decided on the color schemes"

It seems we are getting more than one option for Lena's bikini, which is what me and others was hoping. I guess we haven't seen the most lewd option yet ;)

I kinda see that cuz in Lena and Ian love route or Chad Ian route she says she didn't piss on the prof. But in cuck/beta ian route she says she did it once, and it was awkward.

Another thought and fitting in with the red string idea or at least the butterfly effect, do the choices made by the players effect that character's and other characters' past. Does an Ian who is on the love path cause Lena to have a slightly different past than the Lena when Ian is on the cuck path? Obviously this would hold true for the characters themselves so a slutty Lena would have a different past than a love route Lena or a Lena who agrees to let Seymour take pics of her has a slightly different past than the Lena who refuses him?

Yeah we see this with good Jess and bad Jess. So either Lena is embellishing her sexual exploits or Ian and Lena's current choices shape their past.

TBH I prefer the latter. The former kinda makes the story not move in a linear fashion and robs the story of the idea that we take these characters and transform them with our choices. Instead it becomes we choose their futures, but also their past. So no two playthroughs are starting from the same place. Fundamentally the two Lena's with different stories have different past meaning that at the start of the game we are playing different Lena's.
