Patreon seems to mainly rely on people reporting to them. If stuff stays up it's because no patrons or pirates are reporting the dev rather than Patreon been remotely cool with it. Eva would have to be stupid to put any content Patreon doesn't allow in this game when it's on there and increase the risk of some dickwomble reporting her because he's mad Axel caved Molly's cobwebby pussy in before Ian did so he'll show the dev.

People in the 19th Century didn't have anywhere near as many distractions as we do. Keeping focussed these days, requires a lot more discipline. Tolstoy wouldn't have to ignore phone calls, texts, emails, alerts or have the constant temptation of news updates, games, tv shows, films, music and about a billion other things, literally at his fingertips.
The other thing you need to consider, is that maybe EK has a life outside creating these games? You mentioned Kafka, who was a tortured individual with very low self-esteem. Writing was virtually the only thing that brought him any joy, and consequently he devoted virtually all his free time to it.

Not seriously, no. But i am sort of making a point that you're comparing apples to oranges -- it's a very different thing to write a completely linear regular novel, and to write a story which is effectively a dozen of different potential plots at once rolled into one, accompanied with special code to handle these variants, and to produce associated artwork.

I would take your point if we were at a stage of the story with the level of complexity of GGGB at the very end. Five years later we are not, far from it. Only two FFM, one MFM without one of the main protagonist, no swinging, not one single orgy, and the cuck route is still at "does it turn you on" (for the last year and a half). EK is fooling everyone.
Seymour already has impeded Lena's modelling career, by persuading local photographers and the art gallery, not to employ her. But his threat to ban her from Peoplegram never materialised. How would he have done that anyway? If we assume that Peoplegram is just an alternative name for Instagram, how would someone like Seymour be able to get anyone banned from it? He may have quite a bit of power in Baluart, but does that extend internationally, as it would have to, in order to achieve that? It always seemed a pretty lame threat to me, that Lena would see through immediately. And the fact that she was later employed by a visiting photographer from another city, demonstrates pretty clearly that Seymour's influence doesn't extend far beyond the boundaries of Baluart.
Lena has a lot of potential options, that Seymour can't interfere with. She can carry on working at the cafe (which her efforts can make a lot more successful), she has her budding music career, she'll possibly be able to work as a bar tender or gogo dancer at Blazer, and of course as a model for out of town photographers, Billy and even Stan. And that doesn't include Stalkfap and whatever that might lead to in the future. So although Seymour can initially make things difficult for her, once she's weathered the storm, the prospects for her, are not as bleak as she might have believed
I think if Ian and Lena are together, the biggest threat from Seymour, is what he can do to Ian's aspirations. He can seriously impede Ian's writing ambitions, because he's a major player in publishing. New authors need all the luck they can get, and making an enemy like Seymour, is the last thing an aspiring writer would want. So I reckon, Seymour will use that, as a last resort to persuade Lena to give in to his demands. No doubt he'll threaten to destroy Ian, if she doesn't. In that case, as you suggest, it will probably depend on what kind of relationship Ian has with Minerva and Victor. My guess is, Seymour believes that Minerva is in his pocket, but if Ian and her have previously had a relationship, she may not vote the way he expects. And if Ian has started writing a column in Victor's literary magazine, I assume that will lead to him helping Ian establishing himself as a writer.
