I haven't touched this game since about Chapter 6, and I was thinking of jumping back in. Is this game worth dedicating saves to each route like I do with Being a DIK, or is it better to just fuck everyone you can?

Currently you can't fuck everyone with either main character in a single playthrough, so the first option makes more sense.
It might be best to start with a fuck everyone save, just to see a good chunk of most routes. Then if you like specific characters make saves for them, since dialogue and scenes are different if you're loyal to specific characters, especially on Ian's gameplay. There's also very specific routes, stuff like threesomes, that can be easy to miss. So if curious about that just ask here.

You already got a few concise answers. A more elaborate on would be:
DIK is much closer to a harem game and much more streamlined. You have the main characters route and the manwhore route, so you are good with a few saves.
This game is a nightmare to unwrangle. If you want to see everything, you need multiple playthroughs of one character, since its less about routes than scenes. If you check the walktrough, you would understand. You are almost never locked on on character, you can often decide to skip a date and sex scene and often still mingle with that character later on. If you ignore some characters in the early game, they can try again later on.
In ORS, many characters want to be exclusive, so it starts branching out quicker. For Ians first sex scene, you already have to decide between Alison and Cherry, later between Alison and Emma, then Holly and Cindys paths are exclusive of each other.
Ian admittable can fuck 6 of the 7 main girls in one playthrough, but they start leaving him in the mid-game, especially when he and Lena get serious. Though some like Alison can also return. There is also a bit of difference between romance and casual fucking. With the former Ian often has to be exclusive, with the latter he may miss some scenes.
If you play as Lena, you can actually fuck pretty much everyone in one playthrough, you only miss a few masturbation scenes and some variations (e.g. she can call either Robert or Mike to sext or ask Ian, Mike or Stan to film her). Exclusive is getting Louise as her pet or fucking Jeremy, depending on whether Louise breaks up with Jeremy or stays with him.
Lenas only partner who is truly bothered by being shared is Ian, and even he can be in an open relationship with her and she only drops some partners for him.

I highly doubt Axel fucking Cindy is something set in stone on a route where Ian pursues her.
Mainly because the game is built around choice and routes so to have one of them routes ignore choice and the route chosen is shit design, it just wastes a players time. Ian does have a cuck switch though so if with Cindy maybe Axel is an option in that regard.
All that said. I kinda want Ian to walk in on Cindy leaking Axel fluid from all 3 holes because the reaction on here will be so angry to behold.
On the other hand that's one of the few pairings that require little build up by Eva to make a one off scene happen. Especially if it's just a pic sent like Jeremy and Emma, Holly and Mark or the Allison threesome.

Hello. I have a question. How to independently open two scenes: 36-2 and 36-3 in the general gallery list. What conditions must be met?
By 36-2 in the description on the official walkthrough it is written that there should not be "broke up with Holly #689 or
not interested in Holly/Lena #671" ... I seem to have met these conditions, but the scene does not start, the game just ends.
As for 36-3, it seems to me that I opened the scene, but it simply does not count for some reason, perhaps a bug. Although maybe I'm wrong.

as far as i know, 36-3 is with Lena and is not finished yet to be put in galery and for 36-2 is on Holly path its easy to unlock it.
Yes in theory Cindy is still with Wade. But there's no evidence that she's still sleeping with him. In fact everything suggests, their relationship is now so broken, they barely even talk to each other, never mind actually getting intimate together. If Ian is having sex with other people besides Cindy, then obviously that's a completely different situation to the one between Cindy and Wade, who are basically just treading water, before their inevitable break-up. Wade's depressed state during the beach scenes, is clear evidence of this. Things are not going at all well between him and Cindy, and he's convinced they're going to split. So in that instance, I don't think I'm being unfair with Ian. He knows the situation between Wade and Cindy is delicate, and for the time being he's accepted that he has to wait, before him and Cindy can openly become an item. So if he has deep feelings for Cindy, why would he want to sleep around with other women besides her? If he does that, then he only has himself to blame if Cindy ends up doing the same thing with Axel.
As far as Ian getting cheated on. Well, we don't know the whole story of why Gillian cheated on him. Whilst on the surface it appears that Ian did nothing wrong, Ian himself may not believe entirely the story he's told other people. Because why would he keep torturing himself with thoughts, where Gillian taunts him about his inability to satisfy her sexually? It could be just his own insecurity, caused by the shock of being betrayed by someone he never suspected could be capable of such a thing, or maybe there was an element of truth, and Ian really wasn't giving Gillian the kind of attention she needed? Because in this game, he can change and grow as a person and a lover quite a lot. So maybe he really was lacking as a partner back then, and this played some role in Gillian cheating on him? I'm not trying to claim Gillian didn't betray Ian badly, because she clearly did, but perhaps there was more to it, than Ian was willing to admit to his friends? ( Remember Cherry's actions with Axel, weren't as one-sided as Lena tries to portray them, so perhaps Ian's view of Gillian's actions are not as straightforward as he would have other people believe?).
I think where Ian and Lena cheat on each other, this is clear evidence of Ivy and Jeremy's assertion, that neither of them are ready for a serious relationship. They cheat, because one or both of them want to carry on having sex with other people, and their belief that they're in love, and want to make a commitment is not real, or as real as they believe it to be. Whereas, if they have a relationship and the players don't have them cheating, then that's proof that their love is real, and Ivy and Jeremy were wrong. In the end, the truth is what the players decide for the protagonists. And Lena is only a cheating whore, if the players make her into one. Ian can only get cheated on, in this game, if the player decides that's going to happen, by making choices for him or Lena. And, if you didn't want that to happen, why would you make choices, that would ultimately lead to that?

They actually were and Cherry herself will admit as much if Ian inquires about it. Don't mistake having a motive for action with the action not being one-sided -- all actions have motives, and the motive doesn't necessarily make action nuanced.

If I may ask, what are the conditions to get the Lena Holly scene in chapter 8. In my current playthrough, Lena broke up with Ian after he slept with Holly. When Lena attempts to kiss Holly in her room, she always pulls back at the last second. Is there any way to remedy this?
Yes, don't have Ian involved with Holly or Lena. Lena will actually spell out her reasons for holding back, if this is the scene you mean:

You have to meet with Axel and talk to him the first time, in the restaurant and he will return her guitar and songs she wrote to her. When she looks over her songs he returns, he snuck in some pics of them two together. You have the option to look them over and even masterbate to them, which leads to quite a few scenes with the two of them you can do where she slips up and has sex with him again. If you like the whole dominant male type of thing, that is what he is like. In one of my playthroughs I let them have sex with anyone and everyone. I then done playthroughs avoiding the ones that are problems (Mike, Jeremy and Robert mainly). Not gonna lie, there are some hot scenes with her and Axel.
But you CAN meet up with Axel, get her songs and guitar back, then if you rip up the photos he snuck in, she won't do anything with him in the future.
I am now doing a third route I saved where Ian only does his friends (Cindy, Allison, Emma + Minerva) and not Lena or anyone outside of their circle, and with Lena I am doing girls only + Axel on that route, which has been interesting.
I also have a Holly route I am doing.
I am definitely impressed at how the dev has been able to manage so many routes! The coding for that would be insane.I have also thought about a route where nobody has sex with ANYONE!
