I got booted as a patron for complaining about the next one once again requiring a restart. I didn't choose to drop, it wasn't Eva Kiss, it was Patreon. Dude. If it takes you HOURS while skipping to create new saves on a run through, you’re doing it wrong. You either have way too many unnecessary saves or you’re uh, just not skipping everything? Even if you’re creating saves for the different paths and relationships, all you need to do is key off of the relevant choices and it breaks off from there.
Second, this is still an unfinished game. There’s nothing anywhere that says the developer can’t go back and fix something to make the game better. If you want to complain when the game is done, cool. But this isn’t the finished product and I fully expect there to be overhauls and changes as she goes through it.

Exactly, but people here don't seem to understand the concept of ongoing. It's not just with ORS, it's with most games around here. People have become jaded with this concept of the patreon regular updates and for some reason they come to think that an update on a product that's still being developped should be treated as a finished one.
To all these whiners circling around I can only say this: I hate to spoil it for you, but the patreons who support the developpers are paying for them to develop a game, not for a finished product. It would be really nice if people stopped all this childish behaviour where they feel entitled to bitch about something that they either don't understand how it works or that they have maladjusted expectations and just start growing the f*ck up, because way too many times it's just sad to come around this forum and read these ridiculous rants of people who are just sitting on their ass, never worked a single day of their lifes on a creative process, but nonetheless they just feel the need to come to a forum to rant and take out their frustrations on the work of others, jumping in on every opportunity they see to take a shot and criticize them, because things aren't working out the way they wanted it... I guess some people simply never got the memo that says that the world doesn't move around them...

Stan's problem is that there is really not much interesting that can happen in his path. What future scenes could there be? Spying on Lena having sex, again? Maybe Lena choosing to leave her door open for him? But then what? There could be a femdom path, but we already got Louise for that. Lena could sell more 'services' to him, but right now she is swimming in money. Apparently EvaKiss never had a real plan for him, just wanted to make up scenes as the game went on. But she couldn't come up with anything interesting, either.
I do hope he doesn't get redesigned. We already have too much bland good looking guys (hi there, Robert/Mike/Jeremy). That would make it really hard to sell Lena falling for him, though. They would need to talk a lot more. Right now there is just after she met Axel, where he comes off as pretty helpless and their first photo shoot where Lena sounds annoyed all the time.
Maybe he could manage her stalkfap account, that way they could look at her photos together, choose which ones to upload and talk about how hot they are. There would be a reason for more shoots and they could also talk about stalkfap while shooting

There's stuff that you could put in a Stan arc with photos and exhibitionism, but you're already doing that with Axel. Stan needs something to make him interesting that isn't photography, drawing, writing or music -- that's all stuff the other guys do.
Easy-ish thing you could do is make him a wanna-be filmmaker. Trade his still camera for a movie camera. You'd have to make him a little more confident, but you could keep his character model and you'd have a lot of potential sideplots if Stan was trying to get a movie financed and shot.
Another alternative is double down on his nerdiness and make him some kind of hacker who into stuff on the dark web. That wouldn't fit the goal of trying to make another "good guy" option, but if you wanted to go for a hardcore corruption path, similar to the gang route in GGGB, that could be the avenue.
So I think you can do some things with Stan that aren't a complete re-write from scratch. You have to start by giving him some kind of core competency that makes him interesting and sets him apart from the other dudes.

I think Stans only purpose was to be that fat sloth for Lena to either redeem or just to be the wobbly ugly dude for people who likes that. But the "fat bastard" trope is better used for older, more villainous guys like gggb's Arthur. I personally won't miss him, but I hope he doesn't become just another "normal" dude, I kinda liked the idea of Lena using him for money and as a free photographer, without ever giving anything in return.
I think Stan is going to help Lena with the photo shoots in the path where she refuses Seymour's offer
Someone on Patreon already threw the idea out there, but it would be a good idea to release some sort of version 0.9 "revamped" when she's done with this overhaul session.
Apart from that, I'm all for improvements to the game. And to me, Stan felt more like a plot device than a character on his own. Definitely curious to see how Eva intends to make him more interesting!

I'd kill for someone to make an "all paths" mod. So we can view all scenes while playing rather than having to make multiple saves.

Thats what I think. It looks like Seymour is cutting Lena from her means of income to get her under his wings.
So if Lena refuses his offer, she has to find some cheap DIY solution instead and here Stan might play his role.

I remember the 2 protags on this kinda making things funky, but on replaying it it's much better than I remembered and I think having some clear goals helped it feel a bit more focused.
I'm liking how things are going with the male MC, no complaints there... I'm all about hooking up with the hot blonde that your friend is dating, since she first appeared on the screen I knew that's what I wanted and I'm glad I'm making progress there. Her club outfit was insane too... I may even replay it from the beginning at some point and go full simp and not even fuck the black girl or the boss and whoever else as I'm doing atm.

If there's too many characters with horse dicks it makes the characters who have said dicks feel less unique, and IMO there's no need for a big dick if he's an interesting character and/or knows how to work with what he's got anyway.

That could arguably be true in a single-path story, but this is a multi-path VN where player choices are key. Stan provides an alternative path for photo-shoots for a Lena that wants nothing to do with Axel + is getting other opportunities taken away from her by Seymour.
Of course, this may change with Eva's overhaul.
