grima_grima Are you still working on adding Lena? I think it's just her and Ian that can't be added at the moment. Great job btw!
Since Lena and Ian are main characters, they have more options, unlike the other secondary chars where we basically have bodies, faces and ornaments. That's why they will require more time to implement. But yes, I will add them in the next few days when I find some time after work (y)

I kinda wish Jeremy was the male MC, it’s so rare we get a black MC and tbh his scenes are the hottest. A Jeremy x Cindy would be freaking amazing!
I dont really care about popular opinion however the chances that something happens between Cindy & Jeremy seem to be very low. Would love to see it happen tho.

Probably going to initiate another playthrough where Lena remains celibate & succumbs to Seymour, and Ian goes around fucking everyone I guess. (or maybe just Cindy, but content in respect of that is fucking bleak af)

I've made a lot of progress during the weekend:
View attachment 1703739

Up to 5 characters can be added to the scene at the same time. As of now, only Cindy and Alisson are available, but this is the whole list:

The controls are character sensitive, after you add a character to the scene, you can select it in the Characters list and control it:

And now we can also add our own dialogs to the scene:

I may be publishing this later on today, hopefully. Any feedback before I publish it?

Cheers!

Still revising chapter by chapter, it's not as easy to go through a lot of dialogue and make sure to get rid of any inconsistency left from the previous canon.
Everyone after GGGB: Eva, cool game... however, a little planning ahead might benefit all in the the end.
Eva: I'm so much more creative if things develop organically.
Everyone: O-kay?
Eva (after six releases of ORS): Listen, folks, things get more complicated along the road... let's switch to a bi-monthly release schedule.
Eva (after eight releases of ORS): I'm really stressed out right now... please bear with me.
Eva (after the latest release): Yeah, holiday/covid/whatever... I'm reworking stuff, I don't like some decisions I made in the first place, we'll figure it out (eventually).

G'dammit... that's the reason why people write outlines.

I knew shit would hit the fan as soon as Eva revealed you will control both Ian and Lena, and when it became apparent that their "red string" is more like a heavy duty rubber band that holds them together tightly and their actions affect the other one constantly - at that point it became obvious how difficult it's gonna be to write this game when plot points start to build up and branch out.

I would probably kill myself if I had to write that, even looking at the spreadsheet/plot tree/whatever Eva is using to keep track of the game has to be daunting. I cannot possibly imagine how to write two simultaneously active protagonists that interact with each other constantly in "organic"/"let's see where the journey takes us" way.

I doubt it, buddy.
You doubt what, basics of character design in a story? Difference in the approach of designing main character vs npc? Blank slate character vs set character?

He used to be a nerd like Ian in the past and something devastating must happen to him to turn his life around to become a wannabe player. I would like if path with Lena x Jeremy is more than some BBC fetish. And Lena is the one who discovers the real Jeremey, who hides behind his facade of wannabe womanizer but I don't think we will be able to see that path.
You clearly do not understand what I said. Replace Ian with Jeremy, and Jeremy with Ian in your post and that's how the game would look like if you switched main characters. Now you have nerd Jeremy trying to cover that up and be more manly, by working out and trying to get some and Ian, wannabe player trying to score left and right (which is something you can do in game anyway, because Ian as an MC does not have strong set character and is more of a blank slate) after his "devastating" first relationship where his girlfriend has cheated on him.

Jeremy got the spine of a sponge and the personality and ambition of a fruit fly
Because that's how he was written as an npc. You clearly did not understand what I wrote.

You are desperately clinging to the fact that Ian is more complex character than Jeremy and that's why Jeremy could not be a main character which is absolutely wrong. It's by design - Ian is more complex, because he's specifically written to be the main character with available choices changing the game's story and Jeremy to be an npc, which can only react to those choices. Design can be easily changed, roles can be reversed.

So basically you don't want Jeremy as the MC. You want someone who looks like Jeremy. With a completely different character development.

Cause at the moment, Jeremy is boring AF.
I'm truly hoping he'll end up being more than a walking BBC trope, cause right now he ain't much more. His scenes with Lena are rather underwhelming, he's got no persona to really speak of, and is in the run for some hard reckoning I'd say (I can't imagine the tournament will end up well for him with his lack of preparations).

There are ways to make him interesting as a MC, but at the moment, he's a really "flat" character. I just hope he won't end up being this game's Tyrone.

Obviously. Changing the status from an npc to mc in a game makes a drastic change. Current Jeremy is not even in control of his actions, Ian and Lena are. By making Jeremy main character you could easily write his beginning like he's written in the game, but then maybe develop him into having options of being more considerate and focused on the grand scheme of things, give him more agency and choices. He could keep being a player or focus on one female. Become a successful ceo or a porn star. Or both. Or a crackhead.

Ashley Graham in GGGB starts as a shy book nerd in love with her plain boyfriend. Now, can you describe her character by the end of the game?

I'm truly hoping he'll end up being more than a walking BBC trope, cause right now he ain't much more.
That is something I don't understand. Why people have problems with Jeremy being walking BBC trope? Do they also complain about Perry being an insecure nerd trope? Seymour being evil powerful man trope? Wade being lazy fucker with hot gf trope? Axel being dominant chad player trope? Robert being walking MWC (medium white cock) trope? Etc? Females are better in this game, because Eva likes to focus on them more, just like she did in GGGB. Holly is developing nicely for example. Alison is relatable in my opinion and I really like her as well, not just because of her body.

Still, those are npcs in a porn cartoon video game. I know Eva is ambitious and hard working, but she's just one writer with plenty of characters to care for and she's also drawing and leading this whole business. As far as side character depth go, I think she's doing fine job.
