Remastered was definitely worth the wait and I'm pleased, especially with the intro and the fact that now there aren't always perfect answers and you still have to lose a relationship point. But my man Billy... I mean, he went from "pretend to be a rich aspiring entrepreneur to slamming some pussies" to "oh, Daddy, thanks for paying for my anus bleaching."

Very longtime lurker and I've never bothered to comment before so who cares what I think but after all the arguments over this project compared to GGGB I can't help but wonder at this point if the problem is simply there are too many characters compared to the prior project.

GGGB basically had a different character for each "archetype"; the boss, the best friend, the forbidden fruit, the jock, the enemy to lover, the extreme dom(me) etc and you could move the main character into any of those routes and most of them were very disconnected and locked off from each other which meant there was little issue of "ok, why would they still be talking to Ashley".

Here, after two years of development (almost the length it took for the development of the whole of GGGB), the story so far feels like it's not really going anywhere fast. This feels likely down to the fact not only do you have two protagonists but half a dozen LIs for each, all of whom are still meant to be interacting plus getting new content with each update which means they haven't really been given much depth as individuals and as a result almost all of them feel the same. The women are basically on one extreme or the other of the "Madonna-Whore" complex where they are either fucking almost immediately (Ivy, Emma, Alison, Cherry) or very timid (Holly) while the men are either sexually dominating fuckbois (Axel, Jeremy, Robert) or glum self-pitying arseholes (Perry, Stan, Wade). Almost all of them could be easily switched in and out of any scene and they really wouldn't feel any different at this point.

It's clear from her updates Eva's really been struggling with the direction of the project, something that's completely understandable given the ridiculously high expectations resulting from GGGB, and the months long rework is a symptom of that but I do wonder if the best decision as hard as it may have been would've been to cull the cast down by 2-3 for both Ian and Lena and really flesh out the half a dozen or so total that remained.

Oh, yes, the bugs:
1) If you go with Robert to find out about the management decision, Lena later in one of the scenes in the restaurant in a monologue says that their relationship is developing and she wanted to sleep with him, although in fact their relationship is hateful and she is not interested in him.
2) Ian tells Holly that he managed to give manuscript to Seymour, although at this point it is impossible and the rest of the monologue and dialogue highlights that he did not succeed.

Worth the wait ?!?! how on earth you came to that conclusion ? We waited 6 months to get a new prologue which doesn't really change anything about the game, some new renders which don't really matter if you don't oogle at each picture 5 minutes, a couple of new lines and basically no new content at all while chapter 10 could be already out or even chapter 11 with all the time that was wasted on a mostly meaningless "remaster"

Some people are just blind kiss asses who really don't have alot of brains to them. Agree with your statement though. Disappointment is an understatement of this remastering, specially with all the "hype" for "new Stan". Sure, some of the artwork and added pics here and there look good, but outside of that, file this up to 'WTF were you thinking Eva?"

when i first played the new prologue i thought that Lena and Axel won't break up because she started talking about her boyfriend and i was so confused so i thought to myself "oh so that's why some people said there will be major changes, this actually changes everything" but then a time skip happens and everything is the same.
the remaster is definitely an improvement but not worth the time it took to make.
the thing that changed the most is the dialogue between the characters but most players don't care about it and skip to the sex scenes.
While i havent played this update yet and cant judge whatever it was worth the wait or not, i have to disagree on your last point, most people do infact read the dialogue, otherwise this game would just be sex gallery without context and it would not be that popular, writing is pretty good for a porn game, i would even say its good for a regular vn, if it was a game like Milfy city, were author is clearly does not know how to write, but can model and the dialogue are utter garbage, then yes, people just skip to the good stuff(not that good because of the dialogue, but atleast it look nice i guess), if u are here for corruption u need context, if u are here for love story, again, context, if u are horny 12 years old u dont really care, but u also not a paying customer so it does not matter.

Eva did it primarily for herself and the future Steam audience, which will bring more revenue, which will help in accelerating the development of the game and improve its quality. I don't argue that six months is a little too much for revamp, but it has to do with burnout and her some personal issues. The prologue changes at least the exposition, but that's not even the point. I just understand Eva, I'm an author myself and I know what it means when you're not happy with your work. And most likely she needed it to keep going, otherwise the dissatisfaction would have piled up.
