Hi everyone;
last week I didn't post a status update since I've been trying to focus on progressing the writing, and my mind has been cooked. I'm wrapping up the chapter and I have to tackle some important scenes that have been in my mind for a long time; I had collected different ideas and even had some lines written from weeks and months ago, and building the scenes while putting everything together is proving to be a real challenge.
I've been making (slow) progress on these final scenes, as well as built the "never have I ever" game we discussed in the last post; thanks for your suggestions, I used many of them! I've been also advancing the art and now all the drawings are done (I might add one or two extra, like I always end up doing) but now it's just a matter of waiting on my colorist so I can edit and finish off the artwork. I've also been conducting a search for a new artist to assist me with line-art, and I found someone that might work in the upcoming releases.
Not much else to report; I'll get back to wracking my brain over the puzzle that is these final scenes, and as soon as the playtesting starts (hopefully soon), I'll let you all know!

Oh I do hope we get Lena's POV. There is so much room for fun interactions there. I did read some of the suggestions, someone suggested bringing StalkFap up, which might be fun to have Lena reveal, though also if you subscribed to her as Ian.

I disagree, it's already moving towards debauchery, at least on the cuck route. Like Ashley did with Eric, it's obvious Lena is planning to manipulate Ian into accepting her having sex with whoever she wants, including Axel. What could be more debauched than that? I'm fairly certain she'll be gangbanged at some point and will probably do porn. I reckon, it's only a matter of time before things start getting really kinky. This game is more of a slowburn than GGGB in that respect, but that doesn't mean it won't happen eventually.

I personally fell that you're setting yourself up for disappointment with your expectations for the trip.

Lena won't be "sold" to a sheik in Dubai, but they could go there for a few days and do crazy things. It happens IRL with some e-thots who prefer money than dignity

No, of course she won't be sold to an emir in Dubai.....once in Dubai.....Seymour will have lost his power...and that is how things will spiral out of control.
btw: A "few days" in the EK timeline translates to about two years.

EK has Lena alluding to the interactions as being of a "dark" nature coupled with her response of Dubai when Seymour asks her for her preferred travel destination. While Lena needs to be of a certain posh level (I think >3?) to choose this, it is significant that it results an "evil" (by the URM revealed code) expression by Seymour. (In addition to being a posh destination, Dubai is also a hotbed of sexual slavery.) Also, soon after I initially expressed this view on this forum, someone mentioned that EK was disappointed that in a poll, her subscribers did not express a liking for Seymour.
I do not believe this initial trip will be one of fireworks...first I think there will be an interlude in which Seymour gives Agnes control over Lena (can also be hot if Axel is involved) who will not have Seymour's sympathetic* nature and eventually things will intensify. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I expect the last few chapters of ORS to be in Arabic, so you might want to start brushing up now.

On a surface I am not too excited about "Never have I ever" game, BUT if it is nicely coded with dialogue remembering events from past chapters it could be VERY interesting. Or some cute details like characters showing some spicy pictures from their phones as proof of some claim. I just hope this update will include more characters and different perspectives.

Yeah this is why I think you're setting yourself up for disappointment. I find it highly unlikely that multiple chapters will be spent focusing on Seymour because not only did you say that she was disappointed in his popularity you must also factor in that it's possible that most people actually avoid his route especially if they are on the route where he tries to blackmail Lena. I just don't see the dev spending a bunch of time and resources over multiple chapters solely on a character who isn't as popular as she wanted.

The "dark" tone I feel isn't going to be non/dubcon/rape related by having Seymour lose control in Dubai but instead moral corruption. I really see a point coming in the future where Lena will have to make a choice between helping Seymour screw over the city in some way(mayor race/buisnesses) or expose him. The tension will come from whether she's willing to overlook his evil business ways which destroys lives for personal gain or not.

Again I can only see any possibility of Dubai darkness even happening would only be for a possible ending. It would also have to be written where consent is absolutely unquestionably given due to Patreon's beef with anything that could even be considered rape adjacent. I could be wrong but it sounds like that wouldn't be dark enough for your tastes.
