I can see the Lena/Holly thing happening if she gets cold feet about going on the date with Mark and hangs out with Lena instead, so it becomes an either/or thing.

Hm, I have a hard time imagining that'll be deciding, given that Holly has to both be encouraged to keep pole dancing, Lena has to talk to her in the club and has to agree with Ivy that she should give him a shot, for him to be relevant in any given playthrough.

I think Mark will only become a thing in the background at first and only stick around for non-Ian-or-Lena Holly with a high change variable.

So for you fine gentlemen here, who do you want to see in this next update?

I'm going to wish for Louise and (at the very least) Ivy, maybe a scene with Minerva too would be great.

I hope Lena can go deeper into the relationship with Seymour. I look forward to seeing how much intense this relationship can reach.

And Maybe Minerva and Ian? I dont know, Ian got a lot of actions last chapter, he can wait, its her time i hope!

Didn't Ian have a scene with Minerva this chapter? Or was that in ch. 6?

I think Seymour's a safe bet to encounter with Lena, given he only had a brief scene with Ian in ch. 7.

Ian had scenes with Minerva both in Ch. 6 and Ch. 7. But it's possible that Ch. 8 will also have some Minerva scene simply because Ian needs to work for her, and also he needs to address her bitchiness when he met her at the book fair.

I dunno, i'm not really feeling Lena's part of the story, i get why Eva decided to have multiple protagonists but (imo) there's no real "hook" to her story, i find myself just going through the motions when it comes to her, just waiting until it shifts back to Ian.

But hey, there's clearly something for everyone here, so maybe i'll have a different take on it in the future.

I actually feel the opposite.

Ian certainly seems to have more progression in more of his relationships, ignoring the Lena/Ian ship itself. Lena has a lot of male options I dislike so it halts in that department.

Still, I feel more invested in getting Lena success, because it's fairly easy for Ian to keep his work. Lena has to sleep with Robert to keep one job and has to put herself into the café's success to not let that job go under. Lena's songs has a short-term payoff in willpower as well, we still don't know if we're doing anything right or wrong with Ian's book.

I have a favourite ship for Lena whereas I am still undecided about Ian as well. I don't mind his story, it's fun enough and helped along by him having many friends, but so far I am looking more forward to Lena's progression more.

Isn't it a bit weird that Ian has like 8 ball Mini game puzzle, while Lena doesn't have anything like that as a parallel!?
Both have Dialogue choices. Well okay is the drinking mini game With Ivy/Louise and such and so. But lots VN's have that. Not saying you have to do new and original stuff.

If you think about how it functions, the pool table instances don't actually work differently to dialogue. You can gain friendship and stat points depending on your choices, they are just visual in nature instead of text.

The thing that really stands out for Ian is that new fighting system which relies on different stats and requires timing. I doubt we'll see Lena fight, but who knows if Eva is thinking about adding something similar. I could easily see a similar system serve to be the basis for a "modeling" or "poledancing" minigame.

I used to think like that but after V0.7 i don't really feel like Lena's part is going anywhere other than corruption routes for now. Robert is a blackmailer, Mike will always have Lena as a side girl, Seymour seems to be a more polite version of the "Daddy" from GGGB and Alex is a manipulative bastard.

My hope was for the female side but Holly has "gone cold" in 0.7 and Ivy who looked like she had a good head over her shoulders is jumping head first into what looks like the obvious pornstar route for this game. And Lena's best friend is way too needy.

Meanwhile Ian's relationships are progressing really well with. The only one that is likely a mess is Cindy's if you go all the way and end up getting caught by Ivy and Jeremy.

V0.8 will need to have a huge focus on Lena for me to change my mind.

No, you're right. Lena's chapter 7 is not very interesting unless you choose to have sex with many of the undesireable options. I do agree with that.

Holly's only really gone cold if you don't encourage the pole dancing stuff though (which was my first playthrough, sadface). I am confident we'll see some progression in this department soon. I also have some hope for a possible Emma route when they start practicing together in ch. 8.

In that regard I'm also "neutrally" disposed to any developments in regards to Seymour and Axel. I'm hoping Lena can be smart when she works with Seymour, but only time will tell if that route is ultimately going to result in a choice between corruption or failure or if we'll have more nuance than that.

Has the developer stated the amount of releases the game will have before it is content complete?
