The connection is that Axel is Lena's ex-boyfriend and Ian regardless of the player's options is interested in Lena, so Axel is Ian's enemy now, a bit of a silly subplot in my opinion, but I imagine it would be something of the sort

there is something more, it's not just the obvious reason
maybe Axel and Ian know each other from before?

Evakiss said that Ian and Axel have another connection besides Lena which will be revealed in the upcoming chapters. My prediction is that Axel is actually Ian's father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate.

beta saves don't work for this :)

so quick CTRL playthrough :D, this time i didn't tell Alison that Jeremy was with a girl and still he and that good "friend" Perry threw Ian under the bus with a kissing/seeing a nude model story, well fuck you guys very much:mad:, for me they are DONE as "friends"(n)

I hope Wade is a jerk as those two are so Ian can score with Cindy without hard feelings :D

will the save from this work with 0.3?
Yeah, that's a squabble up in the parking lot Fight Club-style offence. And what's worse is Ian didn't even put their shit on blast and regardless of that both of them tried to cock block him without remorse. Also, Cindy's dead last on my guy's "to bang list" right now. She seems like an entitled fucking bitch, but fingers crossed she's that way because she's stuck with a slob at home.

The difference between Alpha and Beta was an extended scene for Ian's night out (new interaction with Alison at home which I already mentioned a few pages back) and the new requirement to trigger a kiss between Ian and Lena. In the Alpha, it was either 2 Lust or 2 Charisma + 2 Wits, making it quite hard to get if you lack either one or the other (and Lena has more opportunities to level up Charisma than Wits). In the Beta, she changed it to 2 Charisma / 2 Wits, solving the problem of not having enough, as long as you were focusing on one stat to have it on Level 2.

I did a quick search through the code of the Final version and the only change, apart from bug and typo fixes, was the change in Lena's song. She replaced "Nightmare" with "Abyss", making it the obvious choice because now it actually rhymes with the rest of the lines.
Thanks, look forward to reading writeups in the future. Very helpful when changes aren't otherwise provided.

Since yesterday was Mother's Day and all that I was giving a thought to mother-child relationships in Eva's games. For some reason, neither of her games feature a healthy mother-daughter relationship. Lena has been shown to be at odds with her mother and Ashley's relationship with her mother was not quite loving (you know what I mean) either. For the males, Eric's mother is dead and Ian's is a mere footnote. There could be two reasons to this , I think. Either Eva believes that individuals are born not made hence all relationships are based on compatibility. So, a familial bond is not all that important in molding an individual's personality. Or she believes that only an unhealthy mother-child can result in the types of decisions an individual would make that would make sense both in a porn game and in the real world. Thoughts?

Heh, i don't think of her like that at all, she was really supportive of Ian and his book writing where Wade & Perry was like:
dude, you got to get a normal job, stop dreaming about that book, it's not gonna happen...
And also she was nice to Ian for all the screen time that she got for now, so i don't see any bitchy attitude from her...

also she asked for a beer, so what? is that bitchy? If you invite people over, you don't really expect them to bring their own drinks, do you? Perry was the one beeing a little whiney bitch like that one beer is gonna put him into bankruptcy, fucking idiot... :D

For me Cindy is splitting #1 spot with Lena :giggle:

Well, Cindy calls Ian a coward if he doesn't want to bet his money before playing the pool. So it's not like she's the nicest person out there.

Other than what BloodyMares said, her bio states she has issues with her temper and wants things to always go her way. During the game of pool she went out of her way to rub the loss in her bf's face despite asking him for help earlier. I hope her character evolves, otherwise I feel she'll be too boring as the token spoiled white girl.

Character design (Robert)

Robert is one of those characters that force themselves into the story. He started by being just a random drunkard Ian would have his first fight with. But as I continued to develop the story, searching connections between characters, it occurred to me he could be Lena's co-worker. And, of course, he'd be interested in her. And from that point on he demanded to be included on the story more prominently, becoming much more important than originally planned.

Of course the choice to ignore him or indulge him is up to the player. Let's be honest, he's not the most likeable fellow, but that's what made him including him in the story fun and interesting. Will Lena try and explore her sexuality with him, breaking out of her shell after her break-up? Will he become Ian's rival? Will he be an ally or a villain? It's all up to you and your choices.

He's one of those douche bags you love to hate. I liked kicking his ass as Ian and he seems like a good corruption option for Lena if that's the way you want to play it. It will be interesting seeing his rivalry with Ian, I hope he gets to kick his ass again, and if he fuck Lena maybe Axel will bash his face in a second time lol Maybe he will get to score with Lena in my play through but that will cost him dearly!
