Oh big scary Ian? A sci fi writer whose biggest decision in the game is, to cuck or not to cuck?

I don't hate Ian. I just find him boring. The structure of the game is languishing and you can see people feeling that in real time within this thread.
People with such an attitude towards books and writers, I usually tell them that I don’t like onions in my Big Mac.

Release cycle is a big step up patreon-relations-wise vs the agonizing 7+ month waits we used to get. Still, I find myself skipping multiple updates until there's a good chunk of content built up, rather than refreshing daily waiting for the next release. Totally fine since at least we have more options now.

Finally played the update and I don't get why people hate it. I mean it's really short but what did ya'll honestly expect? It wasn't bad nor good it was like a fart in the wind. It came and went.

PS. Never liked Seymour but for those seymour enjoyers, you're all in for a treat

Also wanna chime in on something.

GGGB and ORS have very different vibes and tones. GGGB is larger in scale from a narrative pov but has less depth with it's characters while ORS is smaller in scale but with more character depth. Same with the corruption aspect, GGGB goes for a more typical avn/porn level approach to it's corruption while ORS does a more subtle, slow but realistic enough corruption to it's characters. I mean Lena just turns into a slut who has preferences while the MC of GGGB can literally turn into a gang's cum dump, a celebrity bimbo or snow bunny xD

I don't dislike writers. I'm an avid reader (and writer). I just find it a very poor choice for an interactive erotic novel that forces diversion in the story rather than wrapping together. i.e. Lena's job and life matches within the erotic novel, Ian's job is a total diversion from the erotic novel.

EK could have given Ian ANY job. ANY JOB.

Ian could have been the EXACT same Ian everyone on here likes to argue for, just with a job that plays with the game rather than removes from it.

the game is filled with interesting jobs that the player would like to embody. DJ, Photographer, promoter, someone running a modeling agency... and instead we get to play as a sci-fi writer... WTF?

Please not again with Ian not being a 6'5'' werewolf billionaire rapist, who is also a part-time literature professor, resident techno DJ and the owner of a brothel.
I'm not going to lie, a 6'5 werewolf billionaire rapist, part-time literature professor, techno Dj, and brothel owner... WOW, can you image what EK could do with that?

You really want some stupid story line with choosing the card with the dragon or yoda? and picking what book should get published...

Actually, it's not a bad idea for those wattpad books/fanfictions. I'm pretty sure there's some with a 6'5'' werewolf billionaire rapist but without the rest.

No offense but now that you've revealed you have sensibilities of a tax attorney, you don't really expect anyone to take your input on what you consider exciting seriously, do you... :sneaky:
Serious question... Do you find Ian's job exciting?
