It is a new character, In the Chapter 14.1 Status Report (6), EK teases us about him and two other girls by showing us their silhouettes, one kinda reminded me of a slightly thiccer Jolene, which would have made sense in context and is one of the few characters left from GGGB that have not appeared in a cameo

90% of all games have male MCs because a crushing majority of 'gamers' are and will remain male. Self-inserting in games and especially adult games is normal.
