To me its the biggest shame she entered the game so late, I wish she entered around the same time as Axel, give her more buildup, content, and so forth. This is probably one of my few disappointments in this game.

Tbh, if the intro could be reworked with the scene of their break up, I think that would be satisfying. Even more so if Ian can fuck her before that.

I think she is Spanish. Generally for non-Asian people, i.e. Europeans and N. Americans---the awareness of the concept of the "red string of fate" is more commonly associated with Japanese folklore, rather than China. Not to say that it doesn't appear in Chinese culture or originated there (as many things do in Asia, given the age of the country, but also colonisation).
