For Ian MMA fight, is it better to have mastered grappling or striking, or to have a balance between the two? I've noticed that if I only focus on grappling, then in the fight Ian literally can't do anything standing up lol

For the first fight in the MMA tournament, it's best to master striking. You don't need to master jiu-jitsu, but make sure you have it at least at level 4.

The difference is that with 5 or 6 of kickboxing, you can use counterattacks and finish the fight in the first round.

And with level 5 in jiu-jitsu, you can use this special move.

I recently played GGGB again, a couple times, and avoided the gang route (which I always do cause ya it's cringe), but Ash was slutty, stayed with the boyfriend who came back after being presumed dead, and he wasn't the loser version. Hadn't seen that before, but it shows how many different things can happen on different or mixed paths, which I why I like both games.

I agree with almost everything you have written there, with one difference though:

To me, you cannot judge Ash and Lena the same way, because:

I see GGGB as a parody.

GGGB is pure genius, if only by the incredible complexity of all the branches.

But, ultimately, GGGB is EK making fun of the porn AVN industry.

So, to me, Ash is a parody character. The archetype of the corrupted FC, to the point of being a clown.

I must say that I don't find GGGB particularly hot. I never fapped on GGGB. However, I find it completely hilarious and super interesting in its complexity.

I have never fapped on GGGB, but I have laughed A LOT playing it.

ORS, conversely, is NOT a parody. ORS is a serious game. A realistic game.

As you say, Ian/Lena romance is cannon. It is beautifully written, pretty realistic, and EK is doing an incredible job at this.

Unfortunately, she has built a lot of other branches that are completely useless and poorly written, and not even that hot.

I feel like the fighting minigame needs a UI overhaul to make some of these stats more transparent for players. It's a real shot in the dark as it is now.

Played this recently and I have to say that for Ian, Cindy has the best narrative route I believe (when you focus more on love than lust). It just has so much weight than the others. IMO having Cindy do stuff with Axel when she leaves creates such good tension.

I like the Ian/Lena route but it's just not as heavy as the Cindy route in the narrative department. I know you can choose some LIs for Lena that also create drama but it just doesn't really make sense in my head as I don't think that the Lena we meet in the earlier chapters before we make too many choices for her would go for most of them, so in the end it's just Ian and Lena falling in love and getting trough their past traumas together. Which is a great story but Cindy's is just better I believe.

It's certainly not useless as it's a porn game, and I wouldn't say it's poorly written for a porn game. With that many choices you can't avoid a few inconsistencies, or you just write a kinetic story.

Well to me Lena with Holly or Lena with Ian are what I call the believable / realistic relationships, or at least I think they fit that.

Anything else, specially from Slutty Lena and Holly paths seems to be here to fit specific fetishes: Corruption, NTR, Cheating, BBC... Which in itself isn't bad after all GGGB also had many different paths and if you are not interested you can just skip them.

There are a few instances where I don't agree with the way she's written a character, but I don't find it too annoying.
