this had such a letdown with the story, yes they brought moon back and everything but they just ended it real quick and didnt get into their lives with the new jobs or season 2 or anything. the first 2 games were amazing with how much content was in them but this was just over too soon for the story. very disappointed in this one
Hmm, maybe another story with the whole family. I can't imagine they don't still have some hurdles to overcome. Whether in the family, career, or sexual sphere. They should all grow together.
With the references to Penny being dropped through OtM, and all the emphasis on Suzi wanting to make the world a better place, I get the feeling that would be the next direction for the main plot of the next story to go - Penny and Suzi somehow working together to bring down the evil megacorps. With most of the romantic stuff probably focusing on Suzi.
I just hope if that happens, all the other girls will still get more than the 1 or 2 scenes they got in OtM. And I'm not even just referring to H scenes - if you take out the montage at the end, I think Petal and Bliss only show up on screen once or twice each through all of OtM.

Finally played through "Over the Moon".
IMO this is perhaps the weakest of the 3. While renders have improved, I think Moon is actually the prettiest of the girls, the story is the most simplistic.
Also somewhat surprised Suzi was not in the ending. She simply disappeared after the meeting with the boss man For me that made this seemed rushed and incomplete

Suzi will get a separate chapter. Though OtM is done and we won't release another game as part of The Rose Garden trilogy, we will have another chapter/short for Suzi in the works.
Our other games play in the same Lockverse and TJG's setting and time is a bit too far in the future for an effective "as they are now" cameo, Quean Bee is much closer and it's cast shows some familiar faces from previous entries in the Lockverse.

I can imagine Suzi still being around in the time of The Judas Ghost. Maybe she's even the one who helped Judy regain her sanity after so much time alone. She is after all, something of a ghost herself.

I appreciate the work and I've followed the trilogy. Personally I wanted more content with Moon other than the scene at the end but such is life.
its a shame how so many Dev's get short time fever and rush the endings just so they can rush off to another story and do the exact same thing. Some Dev's need to follow the example set by others such as Moonbox with the VN Grandmas House, it's in part 6, had to be broken into 6 part's to meet the spec's for downloading regarding file size. Hours and Hours of content.
I have barely started to play this game, I was really looking forward to it after playing Petal and Bliss. I have however noticed that there is no gallery in this one...

Sad to see The Rose Garden Trilogy end, but I am waiting to see what comes next for Lockheart. All of their games I have played, I have enjoyed, starting with Avalon, which was within the first 10 AVNs I played, and I have followed Lockheart ever since.
I really wish, as others have said, there would be one more game set in the trilogy to show how their relationship is going, say 5-10 years in the future, and not just a cameo in another game, because I think there is a lot more story to be told by these characters such as how everything worked out with Nixie having a baby, if any of the others girl have one, how did the mentorship workout for Moon, was the 2nd season of Madds Medusa a hit, what happened with Suzi just mainly stuff I think could have brought the story to a more wholesome close than hey Moons part of the love triangle or harem or whatever you want to call it now so is her best friend Harmony and they both were basically handed jobs so they could move back home with everyone the end
I get that making a story is hard; I have tried and failed multiple times. I don't know what the developer has planned for the future with these characters, but I hope he gives them another game and doesn't just leave it here. I feel it would be a waste of all the time and effort he put into developing the characters and the story behind the 3 games to just end it here because the ending felt more like the cliff hanger between chapters/episodes than a real ending.

Finally got around to playing this and I agree with everyones feelings. This game felt super rushed and no one really got the ending they deserved and it felt like Suzi was just swept aside even though there is a story with her coming. Gonna rate this at about a 2/5 the ending really soured the experience and it honestly feels like most devs just can't seem to stick the landing nowadays.

I think that the main problem that led to the truncated ending to this trilogy is simply that the ground moved beneath the feet of the dev when it came to this kind of content. Patreon crackdowns and credit card companies are determining what kind of content is profitable and what needs to be a loss leader. So I know that the dev needed to strike a tough balance between ending the story in a way that they can live with while also wrapping it up fast enough to get to work on something that can make money. At least they didn't just abandon it, as might have been more profitable. I also think that this is going to get worse before it gets better. It started with policing violent and incest content, but now I'm hearing rumblings that the next wave is going to be all adult content. They just did a dry run on that for steam. We have dark days ahead of us, my friends.
I don't think the incest thing really affected the reason behind the seemingly abrupt end of this, since Patreon cracked down on all of those games a few years ago, and devs just found ways around it. the credit card crackdown is targeting everything in terms of online adult content, as far as I can tell, not just the gaming/AVN market. States are also making it hard for adult sites to operate with all of the state-mandated age restrictions on stuff now, and no easy way to verify your age.
