The ending is not satisfying for me. 
Completed ... well, I suppose I'd better start at the beginning to get the full feels ... back to the beginning of Petal for me before I do this.

And thank you and congratulations for finishing the trilogy! Haven't played it yet, but it's still a noteworthy achievement.
What are the plans moving forward?
First one was the best, back when full of hope and possibility, there were some OK moments, Chuck was a total buzzkill, overall just kind of fell off, like an abridged version of a better story, that just couldn't get there. More interested in romance (never been their forte) but too much sexual deviant dialog you'd expect between a client and a professional, felt rigid and too matter of factly, too blunt. After all this time too, still struggles with scale and proportions in scenes.
Don't get wrong, I enjoyed them for what they are, and I assume whatever is next will be even better. Cheers~

We still have Quean Bee and The Judas Ghost in the oven and it will take some time till they are cooked to finish.
Other than that and a Penny short, Locky is working on a novel and we have some ideas for other projects.
There are a lot of stories to be told in the "Lockverse" and not all are AVN material, so we will see what the future holds. Let's hope that everything has some spice and naughtiness.

The ending is not satisfying for me.
Hate to say it, but I have to agree. It definitely feels rushed for the ending of a trilogy. Just a bunch of lewd scenes with little plot happening in between. And what about the whole Suzy side plot?
But I think I get why, the whole Steam and Patre0n debacle kind of fucked every thing up.
But at least Lockheart was dedicated enough to give us an ending. Unlike most ppl that got fucked over by the purge, who just quit. Was it a satisfying ending, no. But, at least we don't have to be upset about it not being finished.
(If Lockheart read this, don't take too much offense. I'm a fan, and you are basically responsible for one of my favorite hobbies. Your dedication and love for your work shows, and I can't wait to see what you cook up next. <3 )

Man, after all is said and done Petal feels like it was written by a completely different person than how this one ended up. Series started as kind of just a feel good romance incest game and completely went off the rails halfway through the second game, and now is just...eh.
Really enjoyed Petal, this one was...fine. Honestly kind of just glad it ended early even if I dont particularly like where dev decided to take the story rather than just drag the game out for 3 or 4 more updates.
Really hope the next game moves back towards what the feeling of Petal was.

While I enjoyed the trilogy, why no Suzi scene? Will she get her own story? I think she deserves one. Also want to see the Penny story picked back up, I love her.
