Steam occasionally recompiles shaders and whatnot for installed games, so yeah if you have something installed it'll just get a tiny update randomly that doesn't change anything

had it once upon a time
took me 8 hours to beat the game on my no-rape/get-everything run. it should take you 5 or less if you just want to unlock the scenes.

does the gallery finally have "all" of the scene or is there some scenes that is gameplay exclusive? and ngl, the full opacity text bg and the non existent function to cancel the gallery choice is as painful as usual lmao
Gallery has every scene in the game, you're just missing the context (dealer's choice whether that's relevant to you). The swarm game-overs, for example, just go straight into the CGs so you miss seeing the map with all the zombie sprites and all just before the CGs start.
